Been a while since I posted, so, meh, might as well

PS1: Persona 1 and 2

PS2: Indigo Prophecy, Tales of Legendi/Abyss, and Disgaea 2. A few others, possibly, but those are more than likely the only ones I'll still try to get.

PS3: The Force Unleashed, Batman AA, and Heavy Rain are the only 'old' ones currently on my want list.

If it has multiple story paths that aren't vastly different than each other, and each one will take 8-10 hours, then I'm not turned off. If the whole of the game can be beaten in 8-10 hours, then no, if I do get it, it'll be for cheap. But a rental most likely if that's the case.

[QUOTE="Eazy1891"]

[QUOTE="Jacks-up"] No excuses other American sites have reviews for it 4 to be exact & this isn't a Wii game we're talking about here people care. parvie

if other sites have the review...which is complete bull....than what does gamespot having a review matter....and also...jesus dude either import the game or wait until october it will be here and then all the sites will have a review...

I was watching an interview with the two guys who belonged to the marketing team of Demon's Souls and they were saying that they wish for people to stop importing the game and that they're doing something special for the NA release because of it. So i advise people to stop importing!!!!

The only 'special' thing I'm aware of is the deluxe edition that comes with a 150 page guidebook and the artbook that comes with the pre-order (at select sites) of either version (which, even the deluxe edition can be bought cheaper than importing it). Still, no crap people, support Atlus! From my experience Atlus has rarely failed in bringing unique (if not always exactly 'great' games...like that Zoids crap for the 360...wait, I think I figured out why...), so supporting them by buying the official NA release would help in continuing that. Of course, what I really want from them is a P5 for the PS3.

I would say Tales of Vesperia, but that's already coming out on the PS3 (maybe it's for the stateside release?). If not, well, I'm assuming that Star Ocean 4 will eventually make it's way over to the PS3. If not, give it enough time and I'll pick it up used for cheap. My other hope is Mass Effect. Every other game I either don't care for or don't see slipping out of MS' hands.

on ps3? just demons and uncharted 2 i think. unless ToV makes it here this fallfunsohng

Seeing as Japan won't get it until September (16), probably the earliest we'd get it (if it comes stateside...which it had better) is Winter. Which makes no sense given how most of the localization is complete. Yeah, I know they added a bunch of scenes and a new character to the PS3 version, but it shouldn't be enough to delay it too much. Heck, it should be able to get a simultaneous release. But, that's just the nature of these things.

Anyway, really the only game coming out this fall that I'm excited for is Demon's Soul. And, once again, Atlus (with their darned artbook) has sucked me into wanting to pre-order it. Which, I will do so with the deluxe edition once I know I have the money.

I can think of multiple for the PS3 (Flower, LBP, Valkrie Chronicles), but even after two years of owning the system nothing terribly 'unique' comes to mind. Artstyle, gameplay, story, or otherwise. If anything, I think I'll have to say Braid. Can only comment second hand though. Well, Left 4 Dead is unique in it's narrative structure. The whole movie-esque thing is fresh, new as far as I can tell. The hectic, trigger happy 'holy crap I'm going to die' fights are also pretty unique. Most shooters you don't get the feeling that you're constantly going to die.

Well congrats on finally owning the best console out there. I myself just bought one/received as a graduation gift a few weeks ago (a 60GB model where the dude included MGS4 and another controller, all for $350). Admittedly I personally don't have any other games, but I've played some friends and recommend valykria chronicles (a truly amazing and unique blend of SRPG and shooter, with (from what I can tell) an awesome story/characters to boot), Littlebigplanet (oodles of fun), and Heavenly Sword (short, but beautiful, fun, and a powerful story, albeit rather simplistic (think mythology) story). Uncharted is pretty good, too. I usually loathe shooters, but I found Killzone 2 to be fun to play (although I will admit Gears is more fun, though if Killzone 2 has an semblance of a story it'll win in that department), and I intend on getting it. And, if Tales of Vesperia ever comes stateside in PS3 form (Japan is getting it this September (the 16th I believe)) get it. I played the $60 beta version, and would gladly pay full price to play the complete, PS3 version. It's that good. inFamous, to me, is like a Fable but with lightning and in modern day, and therefore pretty much just as enjoyable. Devil May Cry 4 also wouldn't hurt if you're into fast-paced, sylized action. And...well, that's pretty much the cream of the crop for what's out (ToV the only exception) currently. Some games (like Demon's Soul) look promising, but only time will tell.

Alright, after digging, go to your order and go to leave feedback. At least for me, under the "Rate Experience" portion of it, underneath that it shows the seller note.

Legendaryscmt

Thank you so much! I can rest easy now knowing that when I bought my 60GB PS3 off Amazon the person said 2 sixaxis controllers and MGS4 were included. After buying it I thought 'wait a minute...what did they say they were including with it?'. And now I know. Again, thank you so much. Now I just need to play the waiting game to see if it's some loser trying to screw me out of money. I pray it's not; I was so bloody excited when I made the purchase.

I tried both of those, but the most I could get was the condition of the item (new, like new, good, etc.), not what the seller said about it. If anyone knows how to get the more detailed comments about the product, I would very much enjoy a step by step process.

BTW, thanks to the two above for the suggestions.
