Yup, Warhammer 's last DOW2 expansion had about 12 seperate bonuses.

I suppose first would be to say that my brother takes karate, he got student of the year 2 weeks back and I know fine well Karate is a defensive fighting form only.

Secondly would be that MK taught me that violence is only cool in games and should never be used in real life.

Thirdly, fun is opinion, however practicality, lego has been proven to be practical, Minecraft, I'm still waiting.

And to top my speech off, the Karate kid in my family sits and plays COD and Minecraft all day, as in 12 hours each day he'll spend online only leaving the house Mondays to do Karate. Although thankfully when his grading is due he does at least stop playing games to practice his Kata,

@Ameliahunter1 I too am against games like minecraft, mortal kombat taught me way more growing up.

Forget minecraft, play lego, at least lego can be used after you build it.

@Junior_AIN I'd love to see it go side by side with COD and smash it in sales.

At the end of the day, to people who enjoy it, great, glad you do. But me, I got bored creating things after Far Cry 1's map maker. I actually never beat FC 1 on the X-BOX because I spent more time making maps.

@The-Neon-Seal @tgwolf Yes, but some things are far more pointless than others and sitting building things that have no point or meaning to unlock more bricks to build more pointless and meaningless things etc...

At least playing an actual game sees you doing something, but be honest, after building 100 things, what happens?

Nothing. I know this as I believe my brother has built around 1,000 things now with his mates and nothing happens.

It's truly pointless, at least LEGO when you're a kid can be played with, but these creations do nothing.

Even the ones that supposedly do something seem to do nothing. I've seen them make things that are highly reminiscent of 70's Sci-Fi shows (If too young, see end of Galaxy Quest) but traversing through them gains them nothing.

It's the most mundane way to sit waiting to die IMTHO.

And it's hooking kids at very early ages.

Anyway, I've somehow managed to hijack a Mincecraft thread and go totally off topic, there's been more posts about this than MC at times, so I'm just going to delete my comments about it. Cheers all for the help, shame I couldn't get anything to work :)

@tgwolf Well it was the truth as to how I see it, mixed with humour, so I'm glad the funny came across :) But yeah, I don't even know why i have a friends list anymore, everyone in it is always on 1 of the big 3. And I personally can't stand them, I'd rather play a game with a goal. I'd take FFVII any day over playing endless football matches, killing people for more guns to kill people and hacking away to get bricks to build things that unlock more bricks. I played MC for 2 hours and I genuinely thought "this is time I may never get back. And for what?". After watching my brother for about 5 hours while I played on my Vita, looking up occasionally, I was impressed by what he'd built, but I asked my "So what does that accomplish?". Because he then moved onto something else without ever using it. I just don't get it, Minecraft to me, is the most creative way to do nothing.
