The guys that make the chips have said they have been shipping the 64nm chips since early this year, so if you don't have the cooler chip in your console would have been siting on the shelf for a long time. I got a Elite thats noticibly cooler than my launch premium in August that was manufactured in may.
I never really liked Jeff and almost always felt he scored games too high in some casesand too low the rest of the time. But giving him the boot because an advertiser wanted a higher score is not on. We count on Gamespot, 1up, IGN and all the rest to be uninfluenced by advertising. Maybe Cnet needs to keep it's ads department completly seperate from the editorial department and have the two departments never talk to eachother.
I've just had one of my sticks of Corsair Dominator Ram die in the last 6 months. I'm wondering is there a quality issue with the Corsair Dominator Ram? (I have noticed that the sticks run extremly hot compaired to normal DDR2.)
