@DredLord2: Cool list, but what made you pick Dragon Age 2 and the first Assassin's Creed? Could you elaborate? I'm not trying to be full of shit, I'd be interested in knowing what it was that appealed to you about those games. I found the first Assassin's Creed to have less variety than Tetris and Dragon Age 2 felt pretty much the same, just generic as hell.

The first Assassin's Creed rocked in terms of setting and atmosphere though.

Alpha Protocol & Risen 1 & 2

Busy playing Dark Souls 2. Somewhat disappointed by it so far but I'm still at the beginning of the game. I plan to return to Dark Souls 1, Skyrim and/or Bioshock Infinite once I'm complete. Also haven't completed my first playthrough of the Mass Effect trilogy yet so I might get on that

The press will love it and it will be a major financial success for Ubisoft. On the other hand, I have no idea how it will be received by the 'core' gaming audience. Really can't say that I'm too hyped for this game but then again, I didn't even look forward to GTA.

I think my biggest gripe with these GTA-esque games is that everything is set in some American city somewhere so it always feels overly familiar (which is why I thought Sleeping Dogs was amazing and fresh). I'd love to have seen Watch Dogs take place in some country like Great Britain, or Brazil, or Japan...or Norway!

First of all, sorry if this has already been posted. It seems like we may potentially have either a) a new Souls game in development, b) an entirely new IP by From that borrows elements from the Souls series or c) an excellent troll. Originally appeared on /v/, then made it's way to GAF.

Christ, I really hope Miyazaki's involved on this one. A large chunk of the development team from Demon's Souls and Dark Souls were not involved in the development of Dark Souls 2. It was already confirmed that Miyazaki had begun work on another game but we've known nothing about it, except for another rumor involving Sony and From working together.

I love the art design in the screens. Also.. shotguns!
