Isn't Far Cry 4 essentially a bit better,

no. Far cry 4 was awful and worse than FC3 in every way.

far cry 3 is only good ubisoft game this decade.

Uhm what? How exactly was FC4 worse? Gameplay wise it did nothing but add. Also, Splinter Cell Blacklist, AC Black Flag, Watch Dogs 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Far Cry are all good/great Ubisoft titles of recent time.

Watch Dogs 2 is my favorite open world game this gen. It's the only game that comes close to having a world as detailed and as alive as GTA, but at the same time it's gameplay and mission structure (stealth, hacking, problem solving) is entirely different. Great game all around.

JC3 is a good game for just messing around, maybe even better than WD2. But WD2 dominates when it comes to structured missions, and it runs a lot better than JC3 (on console and PC)

Nioh and Bloodborne are two super similar games in such a niche genre, I wouldn't really count those as killer exclusives. Didn't play any Dark Souls games, same goes for those dungeon crawlers.

Uncharted 4 was solid, but not as good as 2 or 3 imo. Horizon is looking awesome and I'm hearing nothing but good things about it. Wish my bro didn't sell his ps4 so I could buy it.

@princeofshapeir: Nothing is locked behind the seasons pass. All maps and modes are fee. Seasons pass buyers get early access and instant unlocks for new heroes, while regular players unlock them via in game currency. It's a fair system already used in Siege.

Not surprising in the slightest. Used to work at EB Games Canada and they are seriously up your ass about every single number, even when it's out of your hands like the article mentions. It comes as no shock they found a way to enforce it. Definitely one of the crappier jobs I've had for sure, and I love games.

Nothing pains me more than lying to people , and I was often repremanded for refusing to do it. Everyone would always make up some random bullshit about why you need disc protection , when you don't at all. I worked with a girl once who told people they needed to get disc protection on COD because it's mostly online and the disc spins faster during online play, causing damage. I shit you not. One day I told her to her face that games install and the disc doesn't spin at all when you play, but she didn't hesitate to keep telling people it did.

@FLOPPAGE_50: I really really like it. It's different so you kind of have to be down to learn something from the ground up. At first, everything will probably feel overwhelming and like everything is over powered. But once you settle in to a character you understand and get in a groove, its incredible fun. It's fluid, complex, and has a lot of dynamics. It's a game where rushing in swinging has you dying much faster than thinking and being patient. Combat system is great, graphics look good, online netcode is a little iffy but decent so far.

@kvally: lol the ds4 isn't even as good as a regular x1 controller...

You dont even need to own it, just use a friend's long enough and then pick up your regular controller. The elite is leagues better.

Just too expensive for me, has features I won't even use lol it's still a good product though.p

@silversix_:

It's just dumb because you're comparing someone buying smelly bodily waste (that anyone can make) to a high end controller that is priced fairly vs competitors and has more features. It's just a horrible way to illustrate your point.

custom controllers are expensive to produce man, you can't find a good one under 100, let alone with customizable and metal components for 150. If you're shopping for a high end controller it's literally the best choice. Could Ms sell it for less? Probably, but that's not how companies make money. I work at a clothing store and if you saw the mark-up on your T-shirt youd be pissed. The controller isn't even as bad as most things you buy.

Like I said it's not targeted at us, that's why you don't get it. Not every product that exists has to make sense to you.

Until Dawn is OK if you're into those kind of games. This generation I haven't been a fan of PS exclusives, besides uncharted anyway. The order I wouldn't recommend at any price, it's just really boring and the last guardian is a delayed ps3 game .

@silversix_: the difference is the controller isn't a useless pile of shit, what a terrible comparison.

It's a fully customizable controller with swappable pieces that is made out of metal and high quality plastic. It's also the same price or cheaper than its competition (scuff controllers) and it has customization and isn't stuck the way you order it.

I wouldn't buy one either, it's too much money for how casual I am. But if you're an mlg player or a more competitive/hardcore player investing in more precision and customization , it's definitely one of the best high end controllers.

We just aren't it's target audience, but you can't deny after holding one that it's leagues better than any basic 60 dollar controller. Its much more sturdy, the sticks move more smoothly and accurately, you can adjust trigger tension, add up to 4 paddels on the back...even the buttons click better. It's a solid product. Just not for me.
