Nah, if you hear one G-Funk song you'll never again be able to mistake what the style is. G-Funk is based around old funk samples, particularly ones by the bands Parliament and Funkadelic (both headed by George Clinton), with a very thick, "blunted" sound (no pun intended), with very high-pitched synthesizers and wah-wah guitars. "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang" is the one everybody knows, and probably the archetypal song when it comes to the G-Funk sound.

I dunno why the Parental Advisory sticker is centered like that, it would look better in the bottom left corner. Anyway, it's a pretty interesting cover. Reminds me of this one scene from a favorite movie of mine, The Conformist.
