@Lunastra78: Ah, didn't know there were differences between PC and console versions, other than you guys actually having the Chieftain as a T10 heavy for the Brits while we still don't.
Are you on the EU or US servers? Majority of the EU players will tell you that the T69 and T54E1 are worthless. To be honest I mostly play T8-T10 matches and I really really rarely see both of those tanks in randoms. But yeah, the T57 Heavy is a beast, even though I don't have one because I really, really don't have the willpower to grind anymore. I just use my T10s and Skorpion G to rack in the XP and use gold to convert it to FXP when I'm able to pay for it.
@Lunastra78: Premium shells can be bough with regular credits earned after every battle. However, premium or gold ammo doesn't have angle normalization like AP rounds do, meaning AP rounds will penetrate from more "unbelievable" angles where gold ammo will simply bounce. Also APCR is the one which will mostly penetrate like you said whereas HEAT will have almost no effect if fired at highly sloped and/or spaced armor.
The matchmaker has been a problem since the old days of closed beta, but it was even worse back then because all tanks had today's light tanks matchmaker, meaning everyone had +/-3 tiers of matchmaking. WG said that's as far as they'll go, +/-1 matchmaker and/or skill based matchmaker is a no go sadly.
For me personally though, I cannot wait for them to get rid of the res_mods folders and mod support in the upcoming 2 patches. Hopefully that'll stop all the "pro players" and unicums with aimbots and other cheats.
Ah, the E100, my very first T10 tank. Such a glorious bouncy, spaced armor beast of a tank. And if you know how to angle it, you're pretty much set to bounce almost everything, including gold. Until, of course, you get rebalanced by the enemy arty. :P
@frozenux @CrazyMetalHead0 I mean, he said $5000. Really? What the hell is he running then, I've built my new PC and it'll cost me around $1700 because I live in a country where ANYTHING PC related is two times more expensive than in the USA. Other than having at least 3 Titans or 3 GTX690's, there's no reason to pay anywhere near $5000 for a PC.
