Ah true, DMC 1 was a great game, I feel like they have great ideas, but they always one or two absolutely horrible deciscions in each game that really add up. Small bugs and flaws are almost expected, but it seems when Capcom messes up, they mess up pretty bad/big

True, well their fighting games are great, but just other games as well have been lacking lately I feel. A great example is LP2 as well, it was a great idea but executed horribly. I just feel like they are trying to appeal to too wide of an audience with their new RE games. RE4 was a perfect combination of fast pace vs. survival hurror- the whole shop system was great- weapons and customization- it just missed the zombies. In RE5, I felt like it was all fast paced, especially with the reuqirement of having a buddy always there with you. There is no survival horror, just shooting and more shooting with no breaks. To me Operation Raccoon City looks like a game that is completely obsolete and will be forgotten within months of its release. Other than giving you a generic third person shooter (with a useless cover system- they're zombies) there is nothing more- Dead Island looks a million times better than this game. All in all, give me updated or new games based on the old school RE series with the gameplay of something of the likes of RE4 or Outbreak.

Is anyone else disappointed by Capcom these days? Especially by their Resident Evil franchise? Looking at the gameplay videos of Operation Raccoon City from E3- I must say it looks quite boring. For years now I've been secretly hoping that the next RE game would be a remake of Outbreak and Outbreak File 2 for the xbox arcade/ PSN or even the PC. Yes, these games were quite buggy and had quite ridiculous loading times, but these could easily be fixed I feel. I loved those games, and I feel like the series should go back to its roots of limited ammunition and close encounters as opposed to military trained death squads that lay waste to ANYTHING in their way.

Also, tank controls are terrible, but could easily by fixed (and disposed of) by introducing strafing and even the ability to shoot on the move.

Just voicing my 2 cents.
