Well, that's a bummer. Was kind of looking forward to this game, especially after the somewhat let down of Destiny. Maybe down the road I'll pick it up on the cheap.
I've been doing nothing but playing WOT and the other free games on the 360. Haven't bought a new game in a while, but picked this one up today. Here's hoping it's good!
3 years is fine. I'll get maximum usage out of the ol' 360, and by the 3rd year, the price for the One (And the PS4, as well.) will have dropped a bit, should I chose to invest. Besides, by the 3rd year of both consoles, hopefully any bugs will have been worked out of the systems.
While I agree whole-heartedly with Danny's comments, I just don't see Titanfall knocking around COD that much. First and foremost, it's an exclusive, so it's sales will take a hit with that. Second, it's a new, and seems like most FPS gamers stick with tried and true rather that going out on a limb for something different. While I'm sure Titanfall will be a success, it simply won't stand up to the COD juggernaut.
Is 'Star Wars: Battlefront' a FPS? If it is, DICE and EA can alternate releasing a 'Battlefield' and 'SW: Battlefront' game each year. EA will be thrilled that they'll have a FPS shooter being released yearly, and the rest of us can simply sigh.
"I just want to know, why is it that military shooters and lots of games paint this picture where Americans are good and the rest of the world is bad?"
Oh, I agree. It is silly to think a corporation cares about the individual wants, need, or desires of it's consumers. However, it is not unreasonable for the consumer to want a company to show some care and support of it's product and/or service after a consumer has bought said product and/or service. That practice is dead, or, at the very least, on life support.
