@Kaze_no_Mirai: @DarthaPerkinjan: it's probably an android TV device
Couth_'s forum posts
If they really go android then they must go ARM based and i'd say they are going with an nvidia tegra......lel
lol that's suicide.. They should have just gone 3rd party smh

Literally the first sentence. Not going to be bothered linking because can't be arsed being right all the time.
I always considered what's left for leisure but I guess that's wrong lol.
Anyway... the 980 Ti is a great card and this is a gaming site. We shouldn't be criticizing someone desire for a better gaming experience.
This.. Flabbergasted at the amount of people who get upset about how people they don't even know spend their money
You'd need to be earning a lot of money before 600 dollars is not a lot. The average disposable salary in the United States is just over $3000. You need to cover food, shelter, and utilities within that amount.
If you choose to spend 600 on a graphics card because you game a lot and do not much else, power to you. But don't go swinging your epeen like you're earning $150k and can still be bothered posting on System Wars. Gamers just gotta admit they spend a disproportionate amount of time and money playing video games every year.
Disposable comes AFTER food shelter and utilities
Comes after taxes, before food shelter and utilities.
That's because you can technically choose to spend on food, shelter and utilities. You're not forced to pay it, like taxes (and social security?).
Disposable is what is left once all necessities are paid for.. That's why it's called DISPOSABLE.
edit: wait you mean $3k per month?
If you're spending that much on a single comp part then you need to get your priorities straight, like going outside your dark and damp little hole once in a while and stop smelling your own farts all day.
Or they make enough money where 600 dollars is not alot.

Because wccftech is totally reliable right?
Also 1,000$ where the hell did you get that? Unless it's a dual GPU there is no way AMD prices it at that premium.
A lot of outlets are reporting similar. The price is due to the HBM. It's brand new technology and they are supposedly trying to compete with the Titan with this release.
Only the full Fiji XT will be competing against Titan. The "speed bin" Fiji Pro will be less than Fiji XT.
Note that AMD is first company who released GDDR5 included graphics cards and AMD's first HBM release is just a repeat.
Right. So are you saying the Pro or XT is coming out first? Because all reports so far are for an 8GB Hawaii refresh and a 4GB Fiji "Fury". If the fury is the Pro, I would expect the XT to come later with 8GB HBM.. But there's no leaks of that so far
390x is not a rebrand and will smoke nvidia
http://wccftech.com/upcoming-amd-radeon-flagship-called-fury/
390x = 8GB 290x
"Fury" = 4GB HBM Fiji card.
Re branding cards is standard for AMD. They only ever come out with one new card per cycle and the rest are rebrands. Regardless of which one is the new one, it's still only coming in with 4GB HBM and it will be priced around $1000, which is silly at this point.

dude how is 650 that worse than like 400 for a ps4
the pc can also do more stuff with the graphics photo an movies an stuff
ps4 is just a gaming old school thing that still lingering around
How many games are gonna take advantage of that power? Two or three? How good will those games be? At least things will look nice until the next bestesses card arrives.
Guess hermits really do just play graphics.
Pretty much every single modern game will take advantage of it at 1440p or higher

Ah..... I always forget that all pc gamers are rich and have extra Titan X just laying around for decoration purposes, or at least that's what it always sounds like
If they have the money then they have the money... Why worry about it?
