@yokofox33 Yeah, I think that's really why FE wins. Zelda was a really good zelda game, and the nostalgia from the SNES version was good, but it was over quickly and could have offered much more in replay-ability (like if Hero mode did anything). Where FE can pretty much be played as long as you want to play it.
@BestJinjo Even this definition no longer makes sense though. Because you have large companies like Valve who are technically "indie" because they don't have a publisher, but I don't think anyone thinks of Portal 2, Dota 2, counterstrike, etc. as "indie games".
@thelostkin Both are games. So the majority of players are likely kids. We can all pretend like our "hobby" isn't dominated by children, but that would be false. And the majority of adults who play video games are kids that just never really grew up (myself included).
Yeah I think the general idea is just that they don't want to have a single backstab animation for all enemies because it just doesn't make sense for all of them. So in the demo instead of jamming your sword all the way through someone's armor/bones/then armor again, you just beat them in the back a bunch. If this is indicative of the level of realism they are going for in DS:2 then I can't wait to see more!
Agreed. If something is video only I generally just browse the comments real quick as I figure anything important will be brought up in comments. I mean really, who has the attention span to watch a whole vi... LOOK A SQUIRREL!
