Does anyone remember the Dreamcast launch? An amazing launch for a fantastic console. My issue with the ps4 launch is the lack of any first party heavy hitters, at least with ps3 we got what was supposed to be sony's next big shooter. It's disappointing, but knowing sony, a year from now they are going to force me to buy one. It will be too tempting.
@RPG_Fan_I_Am It depends how much enjoyment you get off the package. One of the most enjoyable and longest lasting game I've played this generation is Vanquish. And that was only 7 hours for a $60 dollar game. I replayed it three times, and I still go back to it from time to time. Value is relative, not absolute.
Is it possible that Gamespot could remove the good and bad section? It seems pointless when half of their reviews don't even mention anything bad to them.
@LADIES_MAN_2013 IGN usually gives high score because they know people won't freak out. It's a way to please the common folk, while reserving their true opinion. The great thing about gamespot is that they aren't really scared about voicing their opinion. This generation has grown up with 10's and 9's. If a game is hyped, and the series is well known it's bound to score highly. When someone disagrees, then they are seen as the black sheep in the reviewer circle. I'm glad gamespot has their own opinion and aren't afraid to show it.
