That story says nothing about the PS3 doing well. Actually read the article. Sony is a huge company and the sale of other Sony products such as TVs and computers are what's helping them.
I've learned that I need to see a game played on a TV in front of me to really see what it looks like. Screens no longer do most games justice and even videos sometimes do not. As media changes more from screens to video it'll be a little better, but it's still different in person.
I've seen some commercials on SPIKE. They target the same audience as the UFC to a certain extent, so I think it was around the Ultimate Fight Night and TUF season debut they started with the ads. I would guess at some point you might see some on Adult Swim too, but I haven't watched that as much lately.
