I disagree with Digital Spy, until Forza is selling 10 Million games with each entry, its still not even in the same continent as Gran Turismo, let alone at the head of any table.

McDonalds is the most popular restaurant formula in the world, at least by far the most profitable one.

That doesn't mean they make the best food.

Freedom of speech is.an absolute term, there is no interpretation. Once you impose limits it's no longer freedom....

One would expect that the land of the free would understand this elementary concept. Though it hasn't been the land of the free ever since communism was still relevant I guess.

Daggerfall was my initiation to TES. I tried Arena afterwards but it never really got my attention as much... I still miss some of the things from Daggerfall in the newer TES games. Cities are very small and break immersion a bit when they're described as 'capital cities' (in Morrowind and Oblivion), some options from Daggerfall are gone that would have made sense (breaking down doors!), and the story overall was too hurried Oblivion - The games did make a few small steps back since the second one, but of course got better in other areas (graphics, combat, overall design). Still, i miss some of the things we took for granted back then. A focus on the mass market did probably influence design enough to prevent some features from being included.

Battlefield has had this officially since 2005.... How is this new, or more to the point, worth paying for?

@strothers101 On the other hand, you'll have loads of newbies to pwn because they have no idea in what way BF is different to CoD :) "WTF my bullets are lagging!"

I wonder why people are voting @Asheileon 's comment down. There are a LOT of spoilers in this review.

@Madgnad From what i understand, perks are unlocked as your skill goes up so you can't just pick a perk for a skill you never use, and perks get more powerful as your skill goes up aswell. It's basically a specialization tree within the skill - Even though they call it perks it doesn't work the same as in Fallout.

@kenmanius Somehow your comment makes me want to play Quake or UT rather than any CoD, if that's an argument for CoD having 'an advantage', if you get what i mean. Battlefield knows better what it actually is i think, whereas CoD tries to cater to everyone. That aside, why do the frontpage BF3 links keep linking to the 360 section? For once linking to the PC section might be nice, especially for this particular game.
