...play ripped music while you're playing a ps3 game? i want to listen to some of my own music when i play resistance, and, since i have some stored on the hard drive, i wanted to know if anyone knew if it's possible to play both at the same time.

if anyone can tell me about this i would be most appreciative. thanks in advance:)

there is no point in buying a new ps2, when ps3 just came out.  you can still play your ps2 games on your ps3.kyleali11

agreed. you can still play all your old games on the ps3. if you can't wait till july to play something, then just find a super cheap ps2 somewhere, like at a pawn shop or something for $25-$30:P that should tide you over till you can get a ps3:) by that time heavenly sword and lair will be out so you'll have new stuff to play as well.

 .... how would i go about doing that?:S all i seem to be able to do is play the disc. it doesn't show me an option for ripping it.

there's no way i would NOT get MGS4 when it comes out:) that's one of the reasons why my husband and me got a ps3.

does anyone here know if you can rip music onto the ps3? obviously you can play music on it, but i would like to store some onto the hard drive if possible.
