oh this sucks....i have about 20 save files each with 100+ hours. so far my day off of work is going great

so i literally just got the YLoD about 10 minutes ago.i did have an original generation 60gb ps3 and im not looking forward to getting a new ps3 but my main problem is my hard drive and save files. am i able to somehow back up my harddrive?

have my original 60gb ps3 still kicking and im looking to upgrade the hard drive to roughly around 500gb...any specific recommendations?

you get the plasma cutter from dead space 1 unlocked in the store. I havent used but it dosent seem to be any different from the plasma cutter you start with it just looks different.

if you have a save file from deadspace 1 or extraction, do you get anything extra in deadspace 2?

I won't know if that's the case until I pick up my copy of BO later today. Someone else who bought the game at midnight launch and played it a bit might have a better answer for you.
