I cant believe you guys are going on about this. Its like Coke vs Pepsi, Nikon vs Canon, Ford vs GM, etc, etc. For those of you who actually drive the car instead of worrying about how many stations the radio receives, my hat goes off. As for the rest of you, buy what you will, and spend the rest of the next gen comparing textures, stuttering graphics, DRM, etc, etc, etc, whilst the rest of us actually enjoy the ride.

Its a bunch of microchips in a plastic case, that store and run code. One machine is no better than the other, and the games will look 99% identical. Both are true game consoles, with unique capabilities in order to make the buyer lean in that direction. Both play blu-ray movies, both have apps. Both support online play. Each will have games that are exclusive. Some games will be epic, many more not. you will laugh, and you will cry, but mostly you will die. Its the era of apps. Nobody wants a game console that just plays games. We want netflix, youtube, the ability to stream our goods. Chat with our friends, and now we have the ability to record gaming, watch the Price is Right, and be spied on by the government through those lovely high def cameras. One of which can make a 3d model out of you so they know exactly what you look like, right down to the corn stuck in your teeth!

Joking aside. I'm excited as always when a new console comes out, and this is no exception. 75% of us will end up owning both at some point, because in the end, its all about the games.

Wow dude, did a Sony employee Bosh your girlfriend or something?! The hardware is fine, the OS needs work. Did you ever think that maybe Sony will work on this? I suggest you hand in your laptop, and get a job over at mobilenations. I dont care about the power cord, I'm not letting my family members use it. 5 seconds for a menu transition!!! 5 bloody seconds! Is your life that chaotic? Special power cable.... If you loose the cable then its off to the shops! If you loose the cable, then its because you dont look after your goods. While at the shop, pick up some ginko pills, so maybe in the future you wont loose it again. for 40 years I've been playing games without the need to pull up the internet. If I'm stuck or beat, then I use my internet brain to figure it out. Sure it sucks that I have to buy a custom memory card for the thing, but it sucks that I have to buy a better sword or watch ad's in half of the android and iPad games I've played. The games may cost 40 bucks, but if its going to give me a few weeks of fun, then its still better than any 2 hour movie on bluray that costs close to that. Guess everything should be free. Who cares that it took 10, 20 or a thousand hard working data slaves to whip it up. Sorry folks, this guy pushed my red button today. maybe its my age, but this kid needs to sit in the corner. (for 10 seconds) That ought to be like a lifetime to this guy.
