I've played the majority of the games on the list, and while I did like some a lot more than others, trying to choose a game that is the "Best" is futile. Most of the games are great and worth playing, it was another great year for the gaming fans and I hope that 2014 is close to as good.

@wolf503 Both Xbox One and PS4 will have HDCP. It's required with BR built in.

Why voice your feelings on the matter? Because enough is known about it and if the majority of people don't like it and speak-up proactively then often times these things change. If everyone was silent then MS wouldn't know that the majority of people hate the 24hr online check-to-function and would be wondering why nobody is buying the XboxOne.

Not sure if I am bummed the review was so short, or glad. It looks great, even if it looks SO much like Uncharted, and the VO seems solid. I really don't mind that the enemies don't hear or see Ellie, that's called smart game design. I'm really looking forward to playing The Last of Us and ending my PS3's life with a great game!

I for one am more than ready. Playing The Witcher 2 maxed on PC had me ready for new consoles. It will be interesting to see how games play and look with more power available.

Yea Daian, that seems to be one of the larger problems. Tomb Raider and Hitman were both great games, and both sold very well. Sleeping Dogs is a a good game and sold very well for a new IP. Square's projected sales were unrealistic at best and yet all 3 games are not to far off their marks. Anything over 1-1.5 million units sold per title should have put them in the black.

@tightwad34 The Wii wasn't "highly successful", it sold well. The number of units sold for a console is importand, but attach-rate is just as importand if not more so, and by that the Wii did very poorly. The 360 was around 8 games per console, the PS3 around 5 and the Wii was barely above 1. Let's hope the WiiU does much better.

Unrealistic expectations. The sales numbers are very good considering that the past few Tomb Raider games were not very good and the last Hitman game was in 2006. Sleeping Dogs is a new IP, how is 2 million units NOT good? I have Tomb Raider and Hitman and both games are very good, Tomb Raider being great. Can't wait to play the next next-gen Tomb Raider, just hope it's as killer as this one is.
