I'm leaning towards purchasing a PS4 but the only thing holding me back is the uncertainty of the PS network. I owned a 360 last gen but the PS4 seems much more appealing and the majority of my friends have bought PS4's as well. Is it at east as good as Live on 360? Keep in mind I don't care for apps...More bout stability/voice chat etc. Thanks.

The time has come for me to purchase a new system. In the previous gen, I owned PC, 360 and Wii. I currently own Wii U and would like to buy a new system to compliment it.

My biggest concerns are:

Games and Online play.

The PS4 exclusives look the most appealing but I have heard horror stories about PS network compared to Live. Online gaming is important to me and I like playing with my friends..the majority of which have converted to PS4. The main thing holding me back is the validity of PS Network. Is it at lest as good as live on 360? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm trying to create a display shelf for all ym games and would like to find replacement cases for some of my old NES and SNES games that are missing them. Does anyone have any suggestions to sites that make good ones..?

I'm looking for something like these:

www.retrogamecases.com

Are these any good..?

I'd like to buy the originals but some are too hard and or expensive so I'm looking for a suitable alternative.

Thanks.

So I just finished Chrono Trigger for the first time ever(I know) And wow..can't believe I waited so long. I'm looking into playing through Chrono Cross and FF7 but I only have a ps2 these days. Do I only need a ps1 memory card to play these titles on my ps2?

Also any other Ps2/ps1 rpg suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

At least my Wii U doesn't blow up in 10 mins. Have fun playing upscaled current gen ports.

Those who have it. Are you playing it in 2D or 3D?? I don't see much of a difference with the 3d on to justify leaving it on.

[QUOTE="bonesawisready5"][QUOTE="Megavideogamer"]

The Wii U will sell 19 million during its lifetime of 5 years. So below the 21.74 million sales of the Gamecube. Nintendo just has to have a tough 8th Generation of games.

schu

Dude, no way it sells 19 million. Maybe 22-25 million if things are really bad. It's already sold 3.6 million. It should sell about 2 million globally during Nov/Dec this year so it will likely hit 6 million by the end of 2013. Even if it sells 4 million units each year until 2018, it will sell more than 19 million by the time a successor arrives in 2017 and at least catch up with the Cube. Of course, doing this badly would suck but they'll still make plenty of money off of it.

I don't think it'll sell more than 10-12 million.

It has already sold 3.5mill with NO games. NSMBU..a 2d quick hitter doesn't count. So you think the Wii U will only sell 6-8 mill in the next 4.5-5 years? Not a chance. I'll say lowest 20 mill and highest 40mill.

The first isn't worth playing if you have the second. There's really no reason to play the original at this point, just buy 3. meetroid8

Lol..I just ordered 1 for GC last night...oh well guess im playing through it before 3.
