I thought Kingdoms of Amalur was the best game on the PS3 so far other than Resistance 2 or COD 4. I hope more players can appreciate the beautiful setting, storyline, and deep combat system. I for one would like to see a Kickstarter for a sequel.

No borderlands 2? Xcom? That big-ridden turn-based game that belongs to Windows 95? Stick to politics, Time.

@inaka_rob I would kickstart this sequel if it was away from the hands of large publishers.

You know a simple solution? Registration done through store registers. We have SystemID's for systems logged, and tracked. PC's would regain it's hold if they could learn from its consoles. Simple installs, disc-based verification. There are plenty who pirate consoles, but at least consoles don't punish honest customers. We need a streamlined process that doesn't hurt the gamers or those who sell them (like me). I don't like having to gut copies to hide the CD key, especially because there is always somebody who forgets to put the key back in the product when selling. Remove it all together. Work with the distributors in creating registration through the selling process, not the installing. Of course, I can see the trade business corrupting that process but, if anything, it would boost the economy of gaming. Trades imply value, value raises the demand and use of a product. Sure PC games are cheap, but I would rather pay a little more for a PC game if I wasn't stuck with the game at the end of the day, or I wasn't stuck with a limited install. In summation: Change format, drive trade market. This appeases customers, distributors and grows product attention.
