aren't you guys been just a bit harsh at Nintendo?

I'm the first one to agree that nintendo Wii has a vast majority of games for casual gamers, but to say there's nothing for hardcore gamers, that's kind of a big leap....

I mean, No More Heroes, Fire Emblem, Super Mario Galaxy, Agatha Cristie, Zak and Wiki, Alone in the Dark, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.... The list is, actually, kinda big.... not to mention the Tales of Symphonia 2, that should be arriving sometime soon... and the Lego Games are pretty cool as well...

The diference is that Sony and Microsoft ONLY have games for hardcore gamers, so you think it's better for hardcore gamers because of that.

I mean, talk about **** identity crisis!

(By the way, Sonic games are pretty good, but it sucks the fact that there are 500 charactes, I mean, who the **** cares about an Alligator named Vortex or a chameleon name Chaotix or something? Sega should put this creativity into creating new games, and not an army of characters in the same game)

That's the problem, SOnic had too many chacters, and Mario has too many diferent kinds of games...

I don't want to get into the discussion of who's better: Sonic or Mario. I belive Sonic has been too underestimated since the Dreamcast. And I believe Mario has been too over-rated.

But they are still old, traditional, classical characters, with good games.

But I do believe Mario is being a bit overused. Ok, so, of 8 Mario games, only 2 are traditional Mario Games (Mario Galaxy and Paper Mario) but that's just the point... I mean, they could have 8 Mario Galaxies and I wouldn't care! That game kicks ass! But, Mario Kart Wii was just crappy and I didn't even have the guts of playing Mario Sluggers. How many board games Mario Party do we need? (I know there's only one Mario Party for Wii, but they make one every year, so we're bond to see Mario Party 9 soon enough).

And, I mean, why can't Samus play soccer? Why can't Link play baseball? I mean, a short, fat, italian plummer that enters a magical world through a green pipe and eats mushrooms can play soccer, but Samus can't? I mean, I'll take a high-tech sport games full of gadgets any day....

Why the **** do you have so many damn Mario Karts? Ok, so Link and Samus and Ness and all can't race (for some obscure reason) but what about Captain Falcon?

Why not a Ness baseball game? (he has baseball bat in Super Smash)

All I'm saying is that, Mario is supposed to walk around, eating mushrooms, jumping on brown stools, throwing shells at enemies, dodging bullet bills and riding Yoshis. He's not supposed to play baseball or soccer or football or whatever other messed up thing they put him to.

I have to agree that there are too many Mario Games...

I do like both Mario and Sonic games, and but I really think Nintendo is exagerating with Mario... They have so many other characters that aren't getting attention... instead of makins 500 different mario games, why don't that work on doing a decent Donkey Kong game?

come on... Super Smash is too profitable for this to be the last...

I mean... they create 1,456,912 Pokemon just to make more money, but they won't make a fourth Super Smash?

It's what I told people when the 3rd Star Wars episode came out... People kept saying "Star Wars is over, George Lucas said there were only 6 episodes" and I told them no.. it was too profitable and they'd find a way to make more money with it.. so now the Clone Wars is coming to the movies...

so, I really think there'll be another Super Smash, because it's too darn profitable...

1 - Super Mario Galaxy (Great game, great graphic... though the story is not that well tied up)

2 - Fire Emblem (I'm playing it now for the second time and I REALLY enjoyed it, the story is great)

3 - Super Smash Bros Brawl (Took me a while to get this game, so I had really high expectations and it kinda let me down)

4 - Metroid Prime 3 (Never played it, but if it's anything like the first one, it's bond to kick ass)

5 - Mario Kart Wii (Just plain bad)

Link is left handed? Why the hell didn't I notice that? I mean, I'm left handed, so I should've known it...

Anyhow.. being left handed is not a disadvantage.. especially for a guy like Link, that fights with a sword and a shield...

That's because most fighters are right-handed and, when two right handed people fight with sword and shield.. the shield is always protecting the side in which the enemy is holding the sword (which means that, whenever the enemy attacks, your shield's at the right side of the body)

When a left-handed fellow fights a right-handed one, they're sword with sword and shield with shield... so the fighters can't take real advantage from the shields....

The big diference is that, since the vast majority of the fighters are right-handed... a left handed fellow (like Link) would've fought with them his entire life and would have great expecience with fighting in that manner... while the right handed fellow would have little or know experience with fighting sword to sword... (since that specific swordsman would likely be the first left-handed fellow he ever fought)

So, actually! Being left handed is an advantage!

Oh, and my favorite caracter is Yoshi!

Quality titles?

No More Heroes

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Okami

Dragon Quest: Swords

Sonic and the Lost Rings

Castle of Shikigami III

Agatha Christie: And The There Were None

I mean, there are a lot of really nice games...

and Smash Bros. is always fun! doesn't matter if you're playing alone or with friends!

I prefer kingdom hearts over final fantasy series... don't know why... they both have good stories and charismatic characters and all that... I liked Kingdom Hearts because of it's continuality, I guess, and because of it's battling sistems...

but.. i'd choose a MegaTen game over any kingdom hearts or final fantasy any time... Persona 3 and Devil Summoner are really cool...
