I can say that it literally started yesterday between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. I was about to reread my review for Ruff Trigger because I think it's really funny and ended up redirected to the same page, then when I decided to check other reviews, I couldn't read anyone elses review either. The only one I could read were the Gamespot official reviews.

Boros here, and it's a good review, I guess. Never really played the game myself so I can't say for sure, but I can comment on the paragraph where you said that platformers are supposed to be trial and error. I don't think so, because if any game boils down to being a trial and error run, then something, somewhere in the bowels of the game design f@%ked up. It shouldn't be like that, because there's no fun in blowing through a level only to have a perfect run gutted by an invisible instant death trap. Good platformers escalate how difficult the jumps and the timing get slowly to make the players feel the epicness of the jumps they're making. The last level of Rayman: Origins is a very good example of this. Consistancy is key.
