What generation of i7 do you have? The GeForce 8800GT must have been pretty old.

A high end modern GPU would be a bottleneck if its put with an older generation i7.

Interestingly the first handheld I had was a PSP. I'm old enough to remember when the original Gameboy came out in the late 80's and the Game Gear in the early 90's, but they never appealed to me.

@regulator331: Your old NES has hardware with only 3,500 transistors. The Xbox one has 1200 Million. It's a little bit of an unfair comparison!

Sorry, don't take this the wrong way, but is there some red line on the price of consoles that console only gamer's don't like or won't cross?

In my opinion even a $600 console is a good price compared to a PC equivalent. My One X cost £450 GBP, my PC currently stands at £1100!

Even when Scarlet supports 3000 titles at launch, some guys on here will say 'Xbox has no games'. Such a stupid comment lol.

My PC needs three upgrades to bring it up to the mark. All of which I hope to do over the next two months.

A new PSU, probably a Seasonic 700W

Either a RTX 2070 or 2080

More storage. Possibly a 2TB SSD

PC gamer mostly, with a bit of Xbox One X and some Switch. As of December 2018 the main system has been PC. Looking forward to a new GPU upgrade in the coming months!! 😁😁

But the frame rate man, the frame rate. All the videos I've seen show a 60 fps target game drop to the mid 50's and 40's far to often. Even the Pro and X have these issues, granted they're not as bad, but can this even be acceptable? Glad I've got a high end PC...

I don't know how to change to HDMI input (HDMI port on my laptop is input). I have searched on YouTube as well and couldn't find anything on there that was useful to me. It was just how to project a laptop screen to secondary monitor.

Anyone have an answer?

It's quite simple, the HDMI on your laptop is an Output, not an Input. You can only use the HDMI on your laptop to display your desktop on another monitor or TV, it can't be used the other way round.

What your asking, can't be done.

It's such a shame Sega no longer hold licenses for some of their other classic tiles. Which means of course, there's no chance of Sega Rally, Outrun 2 or some of their arcade back catalogue like the classic Scud Race.

We only have the port of the original Outrun because Sega modified the main car so that it's no longer a Ferrari Testarossa.
