It's not an unboxing if you don't do not with a oversized knife lol. Interestingly, at a live unboxing one of the lovely ladies at Eurogamer also felt the need to open the box with an absurdly large dagger. 😂😂

They say the OSSC is the way to go for connecting old consoles to modern TV's Monitors
DLSS 2.1 has already been added to Control.
For the Xbox One games optimised for Series X we will have to wait to see what comes out during and after launch.
All your other games will work as if they were running on an Xbox One X and then some. So, if you have Red Dead Redemption, it will run as it would run on an Xbox One X with its enhanced mode. All Xbox one games you own that have Xbox One X Enhanced features will have these features on Series X.
But it doesn't end there. All Xbox One games benefit from the power of Series X. This includes better framerates and more stable frame rates.
Honestly, you need to check out the Digital Foundry video regarding Xbox Series X backwards compatibility. You won't be disappointed.
....even if the PS5 won't do full RT, it will at least do it partially. The Xbox sS however, won't do RT at all, even if it supports it.
Where have you seen or read about Series S not doing Ray Tracing?
900p at 60fps. Grats lems lol
The game was 1080P on the original Xbox, same as base PS4. There is dynamic scaling in operation so it may have dropped to 900P on base Xbox One. Series X/S will disable dynamic scaling on games that did not have a fixed/locked resolution. So it will be 1080/60.
Dirt 5 doesn't look good at all :\
Did you watch the video? Also, DF don't show their video's in the best resolution on YouTube. You need a patreon subscription for that.
My thoughts mirror DF, it looks great.
The take away from this is to get yourself a decent SATA SSD and run your back compatible games from this on Series X as it gives the best price vs speed benefit. I'll be ditching that old slow external hard drive then when the time comes. Well, for loading games anyway.
A group of French gamers via LeStream have been relating their experience with the XSX, and they all come to the same conclusion... this thing will replace your home's space heater.
A heater starts at what? 1000-2000 watts. The Power supply on the XSX is maybe 300+ tops. So yeah, it may get a little warm, hot even. Replace your heating? Not a chance!
Did no one bother to Google or it or at least check the Sony Store?
This collection was released back in June 2020!
And Xbox versions are not being sold as only being for Series X/S, they will work on Xbox One as will all Xbox One games anyway.
