Knight=Ogre
Mage=DeathKnightgreyholiday

You obviously didn't play Warcraft II if you think these are true. Once you upgraded Knights to Paladins and Ogres to Ogre Mages, the two sides played vastly different. Healing took a lot more skill than blood lust. And mages = DK? Puhleez. Someone's never done the invisible mage bomb.

Quite impressive. His choice of Michigan disappoints me some. All these great athletes with Reggie Bush type ability always shy away from the SEC, like they're afraid or something. Noel Devine, Joe McKnight, now this guy...

Eman5805

Maybe because a lot of SEC offenses don't excite anyone; offensively there's not a whole lot of brain trust down there outside of Spurrier and Meyer, right?

Too bad half of those games weren't released in the barren 2/3rds of the year 2007... Might have been an interesting year the whole year if that was the case. SemiMaster

Would have helped the sales of a lot of those games if they'd release in a different window than all those other games.

nice job takingit out of context by omitting the second paragraph of that answer. server and bandwidth costs are just a portion of what monthly fees pay for. Hundreds of worldwide GM support staff, a large dev team that produces constant content updates like new quests, new items, new dungeons, entire new gameplay experiences, plusan online infrastructure that supports thousands of players at a time (this is much different than the cities-as-virtual-chat-rooms model that other games use), and so on and so forth. none of this is free or conjured out of thin air. When you sit down and examine what you're getting out of WoW updates vs. the types of updates in GW, you tell me what the difference is.

Translation: "The Wii has a larger fanbase and rakes in more cash. Thus, we could've made more money if we bet on the Wii."HyperMetaDragon

Yea. And? Isn't making more money the point of business? People will complain when a company doesn't support [platform]. Then when they do, they get called greedy. Nobody is ever happy!

NOT calling Michael Jordan for pushing off on Bryon Russell in that Finals game against the Jazz. The was the most obvious, blatant offensive foul in the history of the game, and because it's Jordan, the refs swallowed their whistles. Gross.

Why are we willing to pay $60 for a game?

ElZilcho90

Because games are still the most cost-effective form of entertainment around. If you buy...say, Oblivion for 60 bucks and get 100 hours out of it, isn't that 60 cents on the hour a lot better than the $11 you spent watching that 2-hour travesty called Transformers at the movie theater?
