Starting about 20+ years ago, I became one of Capcom biggest fans... I mean serious hardcore fan! Since SFIV, I haven't touched a Capcom game, and I don't plan on buying anything from them again. There are so many other great games out there, who the hell needs to take Capcom's BS?!

Gears all the way. Gears is a little awkward gameplay-wise, but the style, the world, the storylines, and the characters are so deep, and that's what really hooks me. BTW, if you haven't read the Gears books by Karen Traviss, I highly recommend them!! The gameplay in Halo is amazing, but the world is just so extremely blah to me, and that kinda ruins my experience.

I've been playing since launch, and I'm still having fun with it. It's come a long way, and I think the creative team has learned a lot, so the future should be pretty good (unless you want PvP). The D3 community is full of haters, but keep in mind, as much as they say they hate it, they're still playing it LOL

In the end, the game is a huge grind. Of course. Making money is very difficult... very good items sell for next to nothing, but on the other hand, you can get amazingly good items for very cheap nowadays! You can build a very good bargain set for very little, and there are plenty of guides. However, the price gap between the good/very good and the great gear is HUGE. If you simply enjoy playing different classes and different builds, you should have fun with Diablo 3!

I've never played an always online solo game before, but this is indeed stupid... I've been trying to play for 6 hours now. And who knows how long I've still got left. I was expecting a fun day of Diablo, but instead I've been waiting around. I never have problems like this when I get a new game for my Xbox 360.

Because it's human nature and it'll always exist. Why does murder, theft, lying, etc. still exist? Human nature. Reality.

Racism will continue to lessen to some extent as the people of the world integrate, but to believe that it can somehow be eradicated is extremely naive. People will always be different and will fight over those differences.

If it were as good as the original Dreamcast, I definitely would! Looking back at all my years of gaming, starting with the Atari 2600, I think my fondest 'era' was when I played my Dreamcast. It was way ahead of its time.

If anybody has a problem paying $60 for a game, just do the math... you pay $3 per hour for a 20 hour game. Is that too much? Or 160 hours of Skyrim = about 38 cents an hour.

$60 is fine, but not all games are created equal. Why are they all $60?
For instance, we all played how many hundreds of hours of Skyrim? I'd gladly pay $100 for a game like that.
But you take a game like Prince of Persia or Ridge Racer Unbounded (both great games)... I was all done within 20 hours.

When the contents of my old HDD were transferred, it apparently didn't do it cleanly. The transfer process wipes your old HDD clean, so there's no 2nd chance. When I talked to Customer Support about my Final Fantasy XI, I was basically told there's nothing that can be done. I think he explained that there were corrupt files associated with the game that couldn't be erased or overwritten. That was 2 years ago, but I haven't run into that problem with any other game. I'm guessing that's what happened here. I'll give 'em a call this week and pray for the best...

Is there anybody else that has transferred their HDDs and run into similar problems?

PS - When I talked to Customer Support 2 years ago, they had me play a song from my HDD while I tried loading the game. That didn't work then, and it's not working on my Prince of Persian Epilogue DLC either :?

I never played the Prince of Persia Epilogue, so I just replayed the game... but now my Epilogue DLC won't get past the Loading screen (it tries to load forever). If anybody has a fix or some ideas, I'd very much appreciate it. I really wanna see where the story goes!

Here's what I've done. It's all failed :(
- Erased the 1 save file associated with the Epilogue. Both New Game + Load Game would get stuck forever loading.
- Erased the Epilogue DLC from the HDD and downloaded it again.
- Installed the game to the HDD.

*Note* I originally downloaded this on another HDD but transferred all the contents. When I did that, my Final Fantasy XI never worked again, and there was nothing I could do to get it to work. I suspect there a similar transfer glitch that has forever ruined this too, but I'm hoping you might now better...

If you think the rich don't pay their fair share of taxes, let me give you an economics lesson. I'm gonna keep this simple so everybody can follow the logic.

People with a ton of money have that money somehow invested in businesses, stocks, bonds, funds, etc. Money isn't taxed as long as it's invested, but they do get you when you cash out. In other words, the rich all get taxed in the end.

Rich people who invest their money perform an extremely important role in the economy!! By investing their money, they are lending their money so that other people can benefit. For instance, I put $1 million in the bank. Do you think my cash actually sits in a vault until I come to get it, that nobody else can touch MY money? No! The bank uses that money for all kinds of things, like lending a normal guy the money to buy a new car. When that guy buys a new car, the dealership, the salesman, the car company, etc. all make money! And all those guys go on to spend the money they earned on something else... and then those people all do the same. See where this is going? See how much society benefited because I put extra money into the bank?

Seeing money as 'mine' or 'yours' isn't quite right... it's more complicated than that. The economy isn't a 0 sum game, or divided like a giant pie. There's a lot of overlapping, as you saw with the $1 million I put into the bank. Understand this, if Bill Gates has $50 billion, the money available to everybody else isn't less $50 billion. Don't scapegoat the rich. Some rich people haven't done a damn thing to earn it, but that's life... who told you life is fair?! Nevertheless, they spend or invest their money too. Most rich people are the smartest, hardest working, and most talented people in our society. Please don't take away their incentive to be great!

Imagine we tax the rich so much that they don't have all that money to invest? That basically leaves 1 source of money... the government. You trust the government (politicians) to be fair or even competent?! There may be lots of shady businesses out there, but none can compare to the government.

And back to the basic idea of the rich not paying their 'fair' share of taxes, here are the facts from the IRS for the year 2010...
The richest 50% of Americans paid 97% of all income taxes, with the richest 1% paying 39% of all income taxes.
In other words, the top 1% paid 39%, the other top 49% (50-99) paid 58%, and the bottom 50% of all Americans paid 3%.
Or how about like this... roughly 3 million people paid 39%, 147 million people paid 58%, and 150 million people paid a total of 3%.

Does that sound unfair? They paid the VAST majority of the taxes, and they've lent out their money for the benefit of society. Look, here's the real issue... money is power, and the politicians want it all. This country was perfectly designed to share power between the 3 branches of government, federal and local government, government and the private sector. Checks and balances by sharing power. Obama and others like him want use your ignorance, prejudice, jealousy, etc. to get you to hate the rich so you'll give them all the power. Don't fall for it!
