South Park was right. The only real power is violence.

You can thank Ronald Reagan and the war on drugs for effectively destroying Black communities.

70% of D.C voters legalized the sale and distribution of marijuana this past election.

So in a exercise for state rights and small government, Republicans banded together to stomp it by inserting language into Congress' spending bill that prevents DC from implementing, effectively destroying legalization in the state.

"The bill includes provisions prohibiting the use of federal and local funds “to enact any law, rule, or regulation to legalize or reduce penalties associated with the possession, use or distribution” of marijuana."

Complain?, I could complain about a lot, but what's the guy to do when he's got an unprecedented Spartan phalanx of GOP obstructionism and filibustering to contend with.

The GOP isn't stopping him from doing anything about Ebola. He's doing absolutely nothing all by himself. He didn't do shit about ISIS. The GOP had nothing to do with that.

This is an overused and cliche reason.

What exactly should Obama be doing about ebola or ISIS that he isn't doing already

Regean would have went to Africa and punched Ebola in the face, just saying...

How Americans died from Ebola? 0? That's inexcusable. negative Americans would have died from Ebola if Reagan was in charge.

My problem with Obama is that it took him too long to realize that no matter what he does, Republicans in Congress will do everything in their power to obstruct it. He wasted two years playing middle man when he had the opportunity to get shit done and when he finally realized the game the GOP was playing, it was too late. I think it was around Bin Laden death, that he finally smarted up and went for more roundabout solutions to passing his agenda.

People who use empty rhetoric like "uniting the country" like to pretend that the GOP genuinely wants to work with Obama. The man can cure cancer and they'd find a way to filibuster it. Not saying Obama's policies were the right ones, but they can't fail if they were never given a chance to fail.

I prefer someone older and more serious. I thought Joaquin Phoenix would have been a great choice. But Benedict as a good actor and he'll pull it off if the script is good.
