Can you skip the cut scenes in uncharted? and is there split screen co-op or multiplayer.

is there anyway to decreas the resolution and make the words bigger especially on FIFA 10. I just bought a ps3 two days ago and i know this is a lame question but help me out. by the way i have a old 30 inch tv, not an hd.
