First Tron, now Expanse.. awesome to see Telltale licencing these science fiction properties for their unique style of game.

Interesting that the Tron mythos is receiving games in a time when the source material is all but forgotten. I wanted to love Tron Evolution back on PS3 but bailed about half way due to the physics. Sounds like Telltale's plodding pace works well with the material.

I was a huge Genesis supporter but had to add a SNES in 92 just for SFII. The months that followed of course saw fighting game saturation that again leveled the playing field - then the actual Street Fighter II came to the Genesis. Those were good days.

@Vodoo: Your points are valid but there have been at least two contemporary Turtles releases in just about every console generation. I was just playing Mutants in Manhattan and Secret of the Ooze on PS3 in fact. A lot of them are 3D - maybe not a follow behind like the Arkham series - but definitely much more contemporary than titles like this one, that pays tribute to the good old days.

Think of this more like Streets of Rage 4 - the modern throwback that captures some nostalgia for those of us who were there the first time around/ an introduction for those who weren't. And this one does one thing SO many of the other Turtles titles manage to (somehow) get wrong: 6-player couch co-op! The moment you see a TMNT game that says 1-Player Only on the box, you know someone didn't get the memo.

@just1mohr: Truth. And even with hardware specs three generations behind and the priciest games on the market bar-none, they manage to be the most successful platform of the generation. Proof that their IPs do all the hard lifting for them.

@Swampthing: Yes, as others are stating, it's not something to argue over. It's just the fact that my logic was hey, this thing has been out there for a while now (5 years). Those early games must be good and affordable now. Goes to Amazon - 2017's Breath of the Wild - $59.99, 2017's Mario Odyssey was $59.99, 2017's Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was $59.99 - crazier still was I had two of the three of them on Wii U years ago for less.

I've been spoiled by Sony perhaps. All of the major manufacturers charge around the same price initially with new titles but Nintendo seems to keep theirs up there indefinitely. The need to scope for sales is far more legit with them than any other brand.

I mean hey, more power to them. They aren't only the priciest but also the best selling system of the generation. So clearly people are willing to pay more for their games. That's a good position to be in.

Say what you will but Nintendo's prices are outrageous. Even on sale. A friend of mine offered me a great deal on her daughter's barely used Switch so I put a few titles I've been considering in the cart - it was over $300 plus tax for the games alone. Had to decline the deal.

@YukoAsho: There's a lot of truth in this - the 9th generation has been woefully unimpressive. The hardware itself is certainly powerful enough but the lack of exclusives takes away any urgency in upgrading. Literally every game I'm remotely interested in for the PS5 is also available on the 4, for less, and, given that I'm running a 1080P display, unlikely any different visually.

Well, when you watch the OT, Vader is mostly terrifying by reputation. Sure you see him occasionally choke out his own men, the reality is that just how terrible and powerful he was in his prime is leaving Disney with a lot of golden opportunities to step up. Between this ep (and the end of RO), I think they're really nailing it. The fact that he just strolls through town, snapping necks of innocent Empire-loyal civilians shows how twisted he is - even for a Sith.

@bdrtfm: That's a good call. Then spares the armed female cop moments later for being preggers. It was like they were still fleshing out the idea of as Schwartz said in the first one: "no spowt". They also did it well when the kid in the cemetery points a toy gun at him in the tree.
