Good to know that the transition was smooth. Now instead of this game being completed never, it'll just be completed never.

@EliOli: Multiple platforms have existed since it all started bro. There's simply no way to unify everyone to one platform, not realistically, and we've seen the trouble with ports.

@Rusteater: Meanwhile, literally millions of people have a differing opinion. How do you respond.

Here's the thing. I like this review. It's a great review. One of the better reviews I've seen for a while, especially with some reviewers like VanOrd quickly becoming little more than a voice trying to shake things up more than actually analyze a game and the actual experience.

Butterworth why this game deserves a 7 on his scale, but also why a 7 doesn't have to be a bad score, which many visitors to this website aren't used to. But because of that, it's bothersome when a website like gamespot pushes those numbers so heavily on their front page and on the front of all their reviews, when from reviewer to reviewer, the numbers mean something so drastically different.

If gamespot had faith in its audience, maybe it'd get rid of numbers all together. Maybe just let the written and video reviews stand as they are, and let visitors see how they feel about what the reviewer says, and not pay so much attention to a number.

But then again, I suppose I understand if they don't have that faith, and suspect that removing the number will intimidate most visitors, who feel as though they can't focus enough to read a few paragraphs.

I don't know. I'm just rambling now. In the end, I love this review, and it makes me want to try out the game, and I wish gamespot reviews worked a bit differently as a whole.

@kaim86 @Blashbuck you miss my point. reviewers have a job. games also almost always get patched, updated and such. but they don't get an updated review.

should have concluded the story long ago. IV was a surprisingly entertaining game that almost functioned as a spinoff. but the series itself is in danger of becoming like battlefield and call of duty and so many other examples of franchises being defibrillated again and again. time to call time of death and move on.

Watchdogs wasn't amazing, but it was at least vaguely original. ubisoft needs to keep trying to come up with new stories.

why they decided to keep pursuing the abstergo story after the first game is beyond me.

@Tiwill44 @Blashbuck Also it's ignorant to have the mindset that if you disagree with one statement from a person or publication, you are then required to disagree with all statements made by that publication. But that's irrelevant at this point. I've made no comment about the validity of any statements made by IGN. I'm just being critical of how faithful you are to believing any their statements to be undeniable truths. And that last statement is also embarrassingly flawed. Suppose a random website made for gossiping about video games said that said that the best game on PC was a game that was also available on PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. based on what you just said, that publication is saying that the PC has no games.

Look I know you're trying to say something meaningful here and I want to hear it, but I think you're just failing at properly stating it. You should slow down and think through what you type before posting it. I apologize for the long reply. It seemed necessary,
