valids points i guess if they did make a lower tier psn+ it would be 4 ot 5 years into console life

i dont know about all you guys but i can cares less for all the monthly downloadables psn games and other freebies. busy with work 40+ hours a week and only got weekends to play. i think if the just had a silver psn for say just online mutiplayer acess and party chat that would be a plus i know i would glady pay 20$ for online mutiplayer for a year, reason im still with with my ps3 just playing gta online cod and last of us for free right now online

i dont mind paying 10$ for a year of just online acess.  i dont need online game share or any of the psn+ things or cross game chat.

Honestly, I'm a little peeved that I need PS+ to play multiplayer on PS4. If I wanted PS+, I would have already joined. The fact is was OPTIONAL is what made it appealing.Jyakotu

Buy used PS3 and copy of game from Gamestop. Beat it, return both within 7 days. Now you can use your money for the PS4. Ghost_702

borrow a friend or family members ps3 for a few days in the middle of week and play the hell outta the game 24 hrs straight lol

yes that is a online feature so now you will need to be a psn+ user to use features like that on nex gen
