I have one. Fallout 4. Purchased at launch. It will be the last game I buy at full price. As average prices for games go up the quality of them is going down. I can honestly say I have no bought a single full priced game in the past 5 years that was worth the price. It's close to 5 years, but the last game worth the price at launch was Skyrim.
Next purchase for me will be civ 6. Waiting for the first sale which I hope is around xmas. It's getting great reviews but that doesn't change the fact that these games are not worth the price they ask you to pay at launch.
I was holding out judgement on the switch for when the specs started to drop.. Off to a bad start. Limited ram automatically limits the console big time.
I voted switch. I'll wait about 6 months after it comes out and it's dependent on hardware specs but not a lot interests me on PS4 or xbox right now. Not to mention being able to bring my games on the road with me. Huge plus.
Microsoft and the xbox brand havee really turned things around in the past year and a half in terms of gaming. If they can keep this trend going I don't see how Sony or Nintendo compete.
I'm fine with it being "less" social. The whole social thing was really pushed down gamers throats the last few years. I've had the best times playing single player video games. So in a way I kind of hope it does make things a little less social.
