As much as I hate Gamestop, their company dying out is not a good thing for gamers. It means less competition for digital distributors, which means less incentives for them to continue offering games at competitive prices. If Gamestop dies, gamers suffer, and yes I can't believe I just said that.

@Zignoff: depends on how much time you spend gaming, if you barely have 6 hours to spend on gaming per week, then PSNow may not me for you but if you play 6 hours per day than you can finish up to 8 games every month. $20 for 8 games doesn't sound too expensive to me.

@Vodoo: Yakuza has been gaining popularity ever since Yakuza 0 hit the west. It's still a relatively niche game but it's more of a mid tier niche now rather than a hidden gem that nobody knows about.

Besides Bloodborne and MGS V, the rest of them are Indie games. If you wait for a sale ( which happens pretty much every other week) you can get most AAA games that are over a year old for around 20 $ anyway. Which makes this list garbage.

@kryten212: Yeah but I don't really play those dude bro games with lootboxes and microtransactions anyway. Still, I kind of get what you mean. I remember how excited I was to try a new videogame when I was young and that excitement kind of died off in my adult years. I thought it was a natural part of adulthood to not enjoy things as much as when you were a child, but then I played Witcher 3 and Persona 5. These games brought that sense of excitement back and I actually started looking forward to new games again.

I don't really see the appeal of Indie games. I mean I started off with the 16 bit SEGA genesis 20 years ago, so I've always considered Indie games a regression rather than progress, which is what I'm used to with video games. Each console having bigger and better games. Considering that I've never actually played an Indie game before, can anyone shed any light on why people like indie games, and should I give them a try?

Sony's conference was so boring, they literally had nothing new to talk about. I knew it would be almost impossible for Sony to top their last years phenomenal showing but this is really sad, I would have taken an embarrassing shit show over the bland waste of time that Sony put out this year.

wow this sale sucks, it's times like these that I'm glad I have an account in the US PSN, seriously though, even if you're from Europe you should have a US PSN just for the sales.
