Huh, so basically Blizzard, Disney, and Arenanet are making a MMO and SOE is taking the credit for it? Is that what this is? Gee, can I play the Sebastian the Crab? Whatever this is, it ain't Everquest.
Wow, the MS viral marketers are really coming out of the woordwork on gaming sites today. Too bad MS, no one wants your shitty Failbox or anti-consumer policies. You only have yourselves to blame because of your greed and tunnel vision. It's no wonder Forbes said Ballmer is the worst CEO of all time.
@halowarri0rs And the MS shilling continues unabated. Say man, let me ask you, does MS pay well for this sort of crap? Is it easy to lie like this to make a living or do you just lack a soul? No one wants the Failbox, guy. Tell MS to stop wasting their time and money.
Your link for The Division doesn't work. Anyway, that was certainly one of the best of show. It being console only is a major fail however. Everything else on that list - sans Witcher 3 and Watch Dogs - is utter shite however.
They don't condone activities that objectify or demean women? I don't know what industry she's working it but it's sure not gaming...or alchohol, or sports, or music, or film, or marketing, or just about everything else. No, hiring bimbos all tarted up to entice young men into spending money isnt at all demeaning, right? It's like Unilever with the Dove natural beauty campaign, which might actually mean something if they weren't the same company responsible for Axe. If the bimbos don't object to being object why should anyone else? Women working in gaming contribute to the objectification of women just as much as the men do so it's not like anyone is clean in this.
Actually I could care less about Desmond and the whole conspiracy backstory garbage. As a historian I find the historical aspect of the game infinitely more interesting. They should carry it on to early Britain, Rome, Egypt, etc. Fun + history lesson = win.
@timmccrthy Sure, kid. I'm the troll. Right. Do I want the game? Yes. Will I buy it? No. Because unlike you I actually have values and something else called willpower that prevents me from rewarding poor coroporate behavior that diminishes my rights as a consumer. Jesus, if you had half a brain it'd die of lonlieness.
Why are people angry at Blizzard for attemping this scheme? If you want to assign blame all you need do is look in a mirror. If you purchased this game, then you knew what you were getting into and you have zero right to complain. You know that this is a long, dark road to head down. You know what's waiting at the end of it.
