I don't really think it's that big of an issue. Nintendo has the handheld market cornered, and everybody has preference between Xbox and PlayStation. And then you have people like me who will buy their preferred console first (Xbox) and buy the second one later on. I like Xbox better, but that doesn't mean that I think PlayStation is bad or that I don't like it. I think even if the most hardcore fanboys look deep down insider that they'll realize that there is most likely at least one game on the other console that they would like to play. If you're on this website I'm assuming that you like to play games, therefore wouldn't you want to be able to play any game that you want?
I'm really glad they finally came out with something like this. The original Rocksmith was good and it really does help you learn guitar, although I knew how to play before hand. I wish this what have came out a long time ago when I played Guitar Hero constantly. Hopefully this game will get more people to pick up a guitar and learn to play.
I'm still getting an Xbox One at launch because three of my favorite game series are Forza, Halo and Gears of War. Since Forza 5 is coming out at launch I will definately be getting it (or at least around Christmas time). The fact that Dead Rising 3 looks pretty sweet is just an added bonus, not to mention I'm also pretty pumped about Titanfall as well. Either way, I feel like a pretty good percentage of gamers (most likely myself included as well) will eventually end up with both consoles. Because as long as I'm being honest, the first time a new Motorstorm or Twisted Metal game gets announced, I will probably be looking for a cheap PS4.
I'm a little disappointed. I must say that I expected to see really good reviews for this game. It looked good and XCOM:EU (although almost totally unrelated) was absolutely amazing and I loved playing it. What a shame. Might be good to pick up in the bargain bin or off Glyde.
