i have a Sharp Aquos 26" TV and it works great with my PS3. It has good response time, good black levels, and good color. My only regret is that i didnt go bigger. If you can, get bigger one, do it.

As for Sharp vs. Samsung, to me, the picture quality looks very similar on both of them. I bought the Sharp TV because it was on sale at best buy.

Do you mean Michigan State University? I would guess so since you mentioned such a large student body. That's pretty cool because I live in East Lansing. Anyway, as long as you aren't high profile with it (don't go around bragging about it), and you lock your dorm room everytime you leave (even if it's just for the bathroom), you should be fine. I had my PS3 in my dorm room last year (I go to the University of Michigan) and I had no problems at all.

does anybody know what steps i need to take to change my NAT from type 3 to type 2 in network settings? i have a netgear wgt624 wireless router. i've been searching all over the internet for possible solutions but i cant find any. i read that with NAT type 3, voice chat is disabled, and i would like to be able to communicate with people while online. i've got my router set to channel 11 and UPnP is on, but i still get NAT type 3 when i test my connection. Please help!

well, back in the days of sega genesis and atari, kids were buying those systems. at the time, they were the cutting edge of gaming technology. and im sure, you probably had one when you were a kid. were you complaining then?

sony, sharp, samsung, and toshiba are usually high quality brands for hd tv's. picture quality, as well as connectivity and build quality, are the best on these brands. like the users above said, stay away from the bargain and budget brands... seriously.
