It is not about 'what is popular in the industry at the time'
That is what is ruining gaming. Make something that is NOT dominant and make it that way. It is called making a good game, and not following on anothers success.
The industry needs more of this, not people making what is already popular at the time.
No thanks EA. I like to make informed choices as to if each piece of DLC is worth it. By buying it all upfront, you remove customers abilities to do this. Imagine if the next DLC has 1 map and 2 new guns for £11.99? I wouldn't buy it, but premium members already have. You can keep your 'premium' , same goes for DLC season passes. removal of informed decisions from customers = bad.
yeah, ok. Crysis was the last good game you made. That was some time ago. They are a studio living off old triumphs. They are going to die a terrible death.
Here's an idea Overkill, how about that Payday DLC you promised me when I purchased it last year, ya know, instead of making new games and a sequal. You advertised DLC for the first payday in the f**** demo, and it hasn't materialised. You will p*ss off your fanbase, don't do it.
