I can't really pick a favorite favorite but I've always had a soft spot for the Dreamcast.

How is it likely that the save battery has died? I have Pokemon Red and Silver and they both save fine, and a lot of games even older than that. I didn't even know save batteries died. WTF is that? So basically all of our cartridges with save batteries are ticking time bombs?
So I bought RPG Maker the other day and I'm really having fun messing around with it, but I realized too late that pretty much none of my friends play their Playstations any more, so even if I put hundreds of hours into making my masterpiece nobody will be able to play it.
On top of that nobody will make their own RPGs for me to play, which is even more tragic.
So, I was thinking, wasn't there a decent-sized community back in the day for uploading and downloading RPG maker scenarios with that Playstation memory card that hooked up to the internet? What were those called? Are they hard to find and/or prohibitively expensive? Would I be able to find a web site that still has original RPG maker stuff on it?
I've been scouring the Google but haven't found anything yet. Please help!
I'd go with Suikoden. Amazing amazing game. I got lucky and picked it up for $8 or $10 at Gamestop like six years ago, I've seen it selling for several times that recently.
Wild Arms is OK but it's not even in the same league as Suikoden IMO.
True Crime: Streets of LA, which was actually not bad
True Crime: Streets of New York, but that game sucks
Hmmm, oh! Worlds Scariest Police Chases or whatever on PSX. Call me crazy but I actually liked that game a lot.
Simpsons Hit and Run is so awesome, I actually just picked it up the other day.
[QUOTE="Ben_Farnsworth"]Some of you guys are total girly-men. Super Mario Bros.? FFVII? Come on.
Mars Matrix makes Ninja Gaiden look like a Dora the Explorer game.

I dare you to say that to Ryu Hyabusa....have you ever played Ninja Gaiden? If Ninja Gaiden is like Dora the Explorer, I want to play games like Blues Clues.
I was just joking about the Dora the Explorer part but I have played Ninja Gaiden and it's really freakin hard, but Mars Matrix is harder. Mars Matrix is ludicrously hard. (and people should totally specify that they're talking about the Xbox Ninja Gaiden and not the NES version... I mean, I'm guessing that's what you mean since the NES one isn't all that hard)
suprise: sega saturn has good games
disappointment: they are very very hard to find

GTFO my internets dude, what are you, too young to remember the Saturn? There are actually a ton of good Saturn games and most of them are relatively easy to find. Educate yourself.
