I said this before the Xbox One was announced, the Kinect should be integrated into the console.. If not for motion controls then definitely for voice-controls... It's a fantastic piece of tech, just sadly left rotting in the gaming-sphere (as opposed to other uses found throughout various different practices e.g. medical, therapeutical and space-wise)
I can't believe we get two seemingly amazing games this week in the form of Rise of the Tomb Raider and Fallout 4, what a fantastic year for games 2015 has been!
Enjoyed the review Peter, I hope the issues stated with the map aren't that bad because, for me, swift and easy map navigation is a must-have for any open-world game especially RPGS... It also sucks that Bethesda have released another game with bugs/glitches... Nevertheless, I can't wait to get my hands on this... Your review has further heightened my excitement! :D
In all honesty, the reasons I have purchased it yet is A) There were other games I wanted to spend my money on and B) The game always undergoes a massive price-cut
@senorbusyman: Why bring CoD into this? Also, in regards to your air-quote, that would be the majority of the install base.. My "maths" was more trying to estimate how many people played the campaign, if I go by your 15 hours then the 12 million hours in campaign would equate to 800,000 people playing it.. Now, what's more believable? 2.4 million players or 800k? So, from my logic, the install base is more logical
@motopramaus: Haha, I threw out a figure based on the time it took me and the time it took everyone else I know who's finished the game... Anyway, like I said it's all inaccurate maths... Was just in the mood to speculate
