Seems like a pretty ridiculous price tag given that it's only £50 cheaper than a standard One S, if that.
I get the appeal of an All-Digital console, but there needs to be a significant price incentive to cancel out the obvious handicap of reduced versatility.
Bear in mind that the All-Digital will only be capable if playing brand new games bought or streamed from Microsoft, and you can't borrow games from friends - meaning that if two console owners buy/play the exact same games, Microsoft will earn far more money from the one with the All-Digital console.
Based on that alone, the price "drop" is a joke. £100 would make it a must-buy, £150 would be reasonable - but £200? Nope.
@sonyonly4 Nintendo certainly cares about the console war and anyone that thinks otherwise is delirious. I'm glad the Wii U is finally getting some games but just watch it get the lowest sales yet again over the Christmas period.
@gamespotpanayis The PS3 had the graphical edge over the 360, it was just that devs never used it because they were too lazy to learn the architecture. It's not like roles have reversed this time like you imply, it's that people have actually bothered using the PS4 to its potential.
