@Icepick_Trotter @BattlemageDraku @BohemiaDrinker @GSGuy321 BSOD are frequent(even day one), random, confusing and very difficult to fix, YLODs and RRODs are a clear, almost dead somewhere hardware sign, that come after years of use.

@BohemiaDrinker @GSGuy321 Well I'm glad i'm done with the whole Buy a game for the PC, then install, configure, optimize, patch, re-optimize, play test, re-optimize, play test again, re-optimize ad infinitum headaches...then finally play the game and a BSOD...THEN check bios, check drivers, check, check, check EVERYTHING...then finally still not playing the game...:(

Used games restricted...fine

Always online...annoying but fine

TV "Watch" achievements...SERIOUSLY!? ...are YOU encouraging ME to be a COUCH POTATO? ...or just to watch BS TV shows, etc. that are Brain-numbing, IQ- reducing, Apathy-inducing, "Unconditionally Obey the Gov"-subliminal BULLL-SHiiet!ing!

...The marketing/strategic/dev teams on Microsoft payroll are either cretin-squads or this is some form of advanced "you tell me what I really want"TM tactic "because I don't care"TM?

Enough of this! Violence, brutality, mudrer, beatings, etc, etc. Are part of this dangerous thing called "living" Its survival of the fittest, dog eat dog, adapt or die! Last time I checked! We are not in a ideal heaven now are we...

We are not desensatized, acceptance of violence is in our DNA, its natural... and its totally un-natural to even pretend to be "true pacifists/no harm anything".

Life is harsh, unforgiving, rarely giving you second chances... so we are desensatized a bit to cope... or we would all be insane, depressed and paralyzed by innumerable fears!

Better gun laws some would say...but the problem is actually the current size of the global human populace... more humans = more incidents of mass violence (plus they are a media favorite these days)

Video games can reduce depression, but can also amplify it. I usually play for the escapism effect the games have and I have been depressed a few times while playing, sometimes the game reduced my depression leaving me with a clear but tired mind state, other times it didn't help one bit, I just got more frustrated and down by gameplay. So it depends on the type, source and magnitude of that paticular depresive state that youre in and also on the type of game you play while being deppresed. One particular game may reduce your depression while another might increase it. And sometimes no matter what game you play, you still remain deppresed or get worse. I then try other distractions: out going, tv, random messing with suff, a long conversation with a friend, anything not directly related to the source of the depression. I'm a old school gamer with 18 years of gaming experience. I play for fun but also to win, so I'm quite familiar with the (gaming X depression = ?) formula and all other variants of it.

The conclusion: I'm a Dreamer Gamer

I play to dream while I'm fully awake and aware, to live other extraordinary lives or parts of them. So many types I am more or less... but I live to game and dream for now...
