This was an excellent choice. This game just hooked me like none other this year. Congrats to Valve for doing what they do, make great games.

@jenovaschilld: I guess you never looked on Best PC Video Games for 2020 - Metacritic, WASTELAND 3 comes in at #22 on the list of best games of 2020. HALF-LIFE: ALYX and HADES got the best scores at 93.

Hands down, Half-Life: Alyx was the best PC game this year (Cyberpunk 2077 next year!).

Nope, Disney acquired Lucas Arts on October 30, 2012. On May 6, 2013, it was revealed that Electronic Arts would develop Star Wars games.

@esqueejy: Well stated, I agree completely. I have never purchased a game based on what anyone else said including friends and family. I have always determined if this is a game I want to play on my own. I don't need reviewers telling me what their expectations for the game are, I just want to hear what the game is like to play, then I can make my own decision to purchase or not.

Sadly Disney is a terrible owner of the Star Wars franchise, they have no clue and giving the license to EA has been ok at best. We all don't want just action games EA/Disney!

For me, it was that Cyberpunk 2077 is being released in six days! I will be playing it on my old PC as I was never able to complete my new system, still missing the MB (Asus Dark Hero) and graphics card (AMD 6800 XT).

We camped at our local GameStop for BF and snagged an Xbox series X and a copy of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The store had two Xboxes and two PS5.
