@HIT3kNology @BKILL96 Yeah, I know that the animus timeline can go backwards. That's fine. Just play 3, or look up the ending and you will see what I mean.
They keep treating these Vita games as if they are full-fledged console titles, instead of high-quality portable titles. That's exactly what they are. They should be regarded more highly than other portable games, so the toughness on these games ins understood, but people seem to think that the Vita is literally a handheld PS3. IT'S NOT! If it were, they wouldn't have to call it the PS Vita. All I'm saying is that it's understandable to be harsh on these high quality games, but give them some slack because, like it or not, they aren't actually console games.
P.S. I picked up this game the second I got out of school today, and have been playing all night. I think the story is fantastic, and I really like Tom Riley. I may even go so far as to say he makes a better protagonist than Joe Capelli, or even on a similar level to Nathan Hale. Anyway, I'd recommend it.
I agree with you on that, but maybe it will only be titled Assassin's Creed 3. It could very well just say Vita edition somewhere on the cover, and then have an alternate story line that ties into the console version.
They need to create some kind of connection between the PS4 and the Vita. That would help the sales of both systems, and it would make them both seem more accessible. Also, there is no way that Epic''s next game will be a PS4 exculsive. It may be multi-platform, but it just wouldn't be a smart move on Epic's part simply because, like it or not, the Xbox is the more popular console.
