I remember the first time I saw Super Mario 64. This for me is an end of an era. It won't be the same.

@ghostofgolden: 😂😂 Hardwenzen is not very bright with a post like that. No-one should waste their time.
@ghosts4ever: Most likely not since Zelda TOTK was released (I haven't played it yet). RES4R It's my personal favourite. Also, FF16 is a contender too but, it's not for me as I don't like the direction FF has been for many years. I'm longer a big fan.
@___gamemaster__: Agreed. The only Final fantasy that I'm looking forward to are the remakes. To me, FF16 is not Final fantasy and I probably will never play it.
@R4gn4r0k: I agree regarding the music. To me, it was pretty shit not the genre per say. Just the track however, Prince of Persia should always have an ancient and atmospheric type of music.
I liked what I saw but, the whole Whispers story line, fate and time on the first remake I didn't like. Hopefully, they're able to execute it and stay more on course of the original storyline.
"According to a reputable Final Fantasy leaker, Square Enix is preparing to release a Final Fantasy 10 remake at some point in 2026. While Square Enix has stuck to primarily remastering its popular games, it has also experimented with full-blown remakes, finding a great deal of success with Final Fantasy 7 remake".
"Final Fantasy 7 Remake released to widespread critical acclaim and strong sales, so it only makes sense that Square Enix would pursue more remakes of its most popular classic games. Rumors have persisted for quite some time that Square Enix is developing a Final Fantasy 9 remake, and it seems the game franchise fans can look forward to after that is a remake of Final Fantasy 10, though it's always best to take rumors like this with a grain of salt".

Imo, FFX was the last great FF. If this is true, I'll be looking forward to it. I hope they keep the turn based aspect (CTB system) however, I doubt it. Thoughts?
"The future of the mega franchise seems to be in doubt in the UK, as we have become the only country so far to block the purchase of Call of Duty publisher, Activision Blizzard, by Microsoft".
"The Microsoft head honcho will also apparently provide the UK government reassurances the acquisition of Activision will do no harm, adding they 'remain committed to finding creative and constructive ways to address remaining regulatory concerns."
We will find out for sure if the UK plans to eventually agree to the takeover in July, as an open hearing for the appeal will take place.
