Hopefully they won't use the broken AI from....well actually every game after the first Rome had pretty terrible AI. Especially cavalry, the AI stopping my cavalry charge an inch from the enemy just to be slaughtered was SO stupid. And Shogun 2 was even worse....but then they just threw that one in the toilet altogether. Basically hope this is bringing back the good times from Rome 1 and not just crushing my poor broken spirit more.
@SporeManiac13 I don't think the article writer was trying to say that Microsoft should force those apps into Xbox Live, I believe he meant that you should have the option to have all of that, as opposed to just Netflix and some music things.
@holtrocks Probably the only reason I don't do this is because a controller just has far more accessibility for more games then a mouse and keyboard. While PCs work very well for RTS and such, with things like shooters and RPGs I prefer an Xbox controller any day. Because in more complex games the keyboard invariably ends up feeling like trying to fly an airplane, there's just too many buttons and they always put important functions in the most inaccessible places. "Press page up to decapitate, F8 to have freaky sex and bang your head into the keyboard to eat a walrus." <----- that's my impression of many computer games :P
@theonlylolking The 360 not having bc was a major turn off for me, not only was the new system incapable of playing older games but THEN THEY STOPPED MAKING THE ORIGINAL XBOX. I was EXTREMELY pissed because I have an Xbox game I bought the day my original died that I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO PLAY. BC is easily one of the better features to have, imagine if your 360 red ringed and you could never play any of its games again because they only have the Xbox 9001.
@kingdakka because steam is mind-controlling lesser people to be obsessed with its crappy system that makes games unplayable the moment your internet connection trips up
