bump. i cant get live at my dorm, but i want some good offline multiplayer/party games. i was thinking madden 09 and left 4 dead (but then i found out l4d is only 2 player offline). anything else.

O wow thanks i never even thought about going to a game store to get it fixed. the company i bought from stopped answer my emails. haha jerks. i called up the store and they said they charge $65-$70. is that good?

See if a local company can swap parts for you. Some independent game stores offer console repair. Otherwise, you can sell it on eBay for parts, after clearly stating that it's RRoD.

i sent my 360 in and got it back unfixed (actually it was in worse condition bc the usb flap was broken off). they said i had voided the warranty or something like that. so i call them up and told them that i bought it refurbed off of ebay and that i had not done anything wrong to it. she told me that they have to process the complaint and to call back in a week. anyone else get this? i want to know what my chances are of getting my 360 repaired.

i get the 3 red lights, send in my 360, and get it back pretty quick. Problem is, my 360 is more broken than it was before! The flap where you plug in controllers is totally broken off, something sounds loose inside, and the draw doesnt open. The 3 rings were STILL there. Did this happen to anyone else b/c this is crazy. So am i just supposed to send it back again?

i got the 3 red lights yesterday and i bought my 360 pro refurb a year and a half ago. is there some way i can bypass paying the $100 fee?

So i moved into college and tried to set up my XBL. I plugged the ethernet cord from the 360 to the ethernet wall jack. When i do the test thing, it says the 360 failed the IP address. Anyone else experience this?
