Graphics are going to be rolled back according to Intel. They want to first and foremost make devices that consume less power/run less hot before they create tiny little things capable of "big hardware" potential. 2017? Naw, but 2025? Could happen.
@saturatedbutter: But Fallout is now a much more known entity, that's why it sold more. Because everyone remembers Fallout 3 and knows Bethesda did Skyrim etc,
Fallout 3 had a lot less fame to its name before release, because you'd only know it if you played the original two in the 90's.
@DrunkenPunk800: I suppose the only reason would be for RePacks that are smaller in download size compared to the real thing, but in that case you have much bigger problems than just buying games if your internet is limited.
The real question is, will this new DRM actually create an increase in the rate of game sales? Or will it actually decrease because smaller games won't be able to get the marketing they need through piracy?
A reminder that Fallout 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution are two games that were leaked in their early stages and ended up benefiting sales in the long term because gamers got to see how awesome they were shaping up to be.
