Here's an old one: any of you know where to get the PS2 Baroque OST? I haven't had luck on Amazon or iTunes. Thanks!

I've been playing Shining in the Darkness (and mapping out the levels on graph paper!), Gley Lancer, Bonk's Revenge and Soldier Blade. Previously, I was playing a lot of Beyond Oasis, Ninja Spirit, Y's 1 & 2 and LIght Crusaders. And a little of Brawl Brothers. They are all aces in my book.

Super Mario 3D World is underhyped in my opinion. It is a game that mixes the advantages of multiplayer madness from NSMB, the timeless structure of Super Mario World, the creativity of SMG, and its own news genre defining twists. This game could be as significant to the progression of the video game medium as GTAV.thedude-

+1 I do not understand, at all, why there is not more interest in this game, or why the gaming public/Nintendo fan was disappointed that this wasn't SMG3.

I hope this is the right place to ask this, but to all you Club Nintendo Members - do your coins get 'spent' when you redeem them, or is the amount you have a constant? Thanks :)

[QUOTE="DJ_Lae"][QUOTE="AtelierFan"]I've read that the Dolphin emulator (hope that's okay to mention that here...) allows you to use the mouse as a Wii pointer. How does that work?JuanGrande386

Emulation of the system that tracks the IR spots on the sensor bar, I guess. There's no technical reason why Nintendo couldn't implement something similar with the right analog stick. It would be clunky, sure, but it would work.

A mouse would be a perfect pointer substitution for a Wiimote..........an analog stick on the other hand would be straight up TERRIBLE! Imagine trying to play Wii Sports or shooting games that were made for the motion controls with the Gamepads analog sticks, YUCK! I think most of you are seriously overlooking how much work would have to go into getting the Gamepad to work with alot of Wii games. They were meant to be played with a Wiimote, not analog sticks.

Just take this feature for what it is, turning your Wii U Gamepad into a little tv for playing Wii games if someone else is using the big screen.

I might disagree about the analogue stick being terrible - I mean a lot of the games just use flicks to replace d pad movements anyway (Crystal Chronicles, No More Heroes, for example). And a game like Muramasa would work just fine :)

[QUOTE="Rod90"]My bet is never. Few games don't use any kind of motion control, and then you have IR controls. They would have to make the games again to make them compatible with "gamepad controls" which is impossible. So don't get your hopes up.

If you like Golden Axe, then there's not reason not to like Golden Axe II. It's more of the same, just with some different bad guys and different creatures that you ride.

I have also read that throwing enemies also knocks other enemies down. Sounds like a +1 in my book. Is this the one with branching paths?

[QUOTE="drekula2"]

Honestly, get the Wii (but get a used Wii that can play gamecube games).

You can just you-know-what for SNES games and the like.

I think this is the plan of action; I will be picking up a used Wii that can play GameCube games, and I will be set for a *very* long time. Next on my console list will most likely be a SNES or a Dreamcast.

For what it's worth, there are some great gems on the SNES section of the VC - Metal Marines and Wild Guns to name a couple. And the Turbografx-16 (CD) has some great games as well.
