Last time.i played Metroidvania game, was on Play Station 1. Back in the 90is. It was Castlevania Simphony of the Night and Metroid game. So i completely forgot about genre, untill recently. Corona thing made me stay home and play more then usual so i gave a try to Ori and Will of The Wisps. I had. A blast, and actually it reminded me on both CSOTN and Metroid, so my fellow comrades through dark ages of Isolation, i need a suggestion. It would be really cool if there is a game for Xbox One in Metroidvania style, newer. But also wouldnt mind XBox 360 game for Xbox one. Bless you all, have patience and i wish you good health.

Hello my fellow comrades, here is a PC gamer that need a good modern RTS game, i dont care for price, requirements just need to play modern and good RTS if there is one, last what i have played it was only Age of Empires I and II remastered, CNC whole Serial and Desert of Kharak - Homeworld.
Was googling for upcoming and current RTS games, but its futile, and please guys avoid answering Warcraft 3 Reforged(Its abomination of a game).
Thank you in advance.
Guys i am looking for some crowfunding/kickstarter, or any other future game hackandslash rpg / arpg like Diablo , Titan Quest , Torchlight, Grim Dawn, Sacred 2, something like that games. I am die hard fun of H&SRPG's, have several characters in both Grim Dawn, Titan Quest 100 lvl, and few of them Hard Core characters 100lvl. So i am craving for something new, as good as traditional H&S game ? Any new games, upcomming projects ?
1) Warcraft 4 RTS none of the WoW crap. (Not really sure if this one counts lol)
2) Titan Quest 2, I know Grim Dawn is the spiritual successor but can't hurt to ask (Dungeon Crawlers are my favorite game)
3) ... Half-Life series, true one from Valve
1 & 3, but you already have Titan Quest 2, called Grim Dawn. A lot better then original TiTan Quest
Well few facts.
I am from Europe, i am profesor of History science, i am a Serb(Balkans are well known for clash of civilizations ((Christianity(Ortodox, Catholic) and Islam)
Problem is that Europe is in chains of NATO(USA's prostitue) Europe is not homogenic country like USA, Brussels doesnt have same political value like D.C.
When ever some national movement rise in Europe, there are great chances that loby will somehow downgrade it.
Islam and imigrants arent new fact for Europe, 500 years ago we fought against Ottomans, so Islam is a part of Europe culture.
*cough* ummmmm, games to play, eh? Man, five years you missed some real gems!
I will keep the list short and just recommend some recent ones to you:
: probably the game to play
: older than 5 years, still relevant though
: new game by Blizzard, very competative, rock-paper-scissor balance you'd expect from them
DOOM (2016): a hyped title, but still surprised a lot of people. A return to the "good old days" of pure shooters, just a space marine, his gun/s, demons, and Mars (and of course an evil corporation). A lot of fun!
Dishonored 1/2: the thinking man's FPS, it has a variety of different ways to tackle your objectives. Really neat art direction, you can play lethal/non-lethal, action/stealth, good story...lots of replayability, awesome gameplay, just an awesome all around experience
(RTS): came out in a series of episodes for each race, and older than five years, but you might have missed out on it. Very popular online and off, might want to give it whirl.
(RTS): truly one of the best RTS's (imo) to come out in recent memory, this is one of the best single-player strategy games I have played since the original Homeworld and C&C games. A bit different as it takes place on a planet, and not space, but really awesome as it incorporates aspects of the original game yet still does things differently. Very cinematic, beautiful, awesome story.
: not really a new game, but an old game remastered, just figured I'd throw it out there since it's worth it.
not much to say; arguably the best turn-based strategy game series is back, with arguably its best installment. Changes things up quite a bit, and for the better. If you haven't gamed for a few years and are looking for a TBS, Civ 6 is the way to go
): while the "4X" genre is not technically new, it has defnitely been perfected in recent years and made incredibly popular, and Stellaris is arguably one of the better and more recent examples of it. Games can be HUGE (often to an incromprehenible, you'll-see-it-when-you-get-there-I Can't-really-explain-it degree) but fun, and rewarding.
City Builder, etc:
SimCity is dead, all hail Cities Skylines! Seriously, arguably the best city builder since SimCity 4
: might have been more than five years out, but on the off chance you missed it, I'm putting it down here; an awesome city-builder-meets-economy-sim, it is a micro-managers wet dream. DO NOT buy Anno 2205
while still in early access, this sweet little "village sim" is an amazing amount of fun with a devoted, highly-active development team that you can tell really cares about their product. It's very fun block-based (think minecraft) game where you control villagers and create a village that is beset by creatures at intervals, there's an economy to worry about, people to feed...lots of fun!
a new king to the coaster sim, Planet Coaster is simply the best. Intuitive interface lets you design to your hearts content, fun gameplay, just awesome.
an "old school" RPG with tongue-in-cheek humor, it was a crowdsourced tale of success that is near and dear to many hearts. It's gameplay is perhaps the best part, with a variety of ways to play (and abuse, and cheat, and exploit) to your heart's content.
do you remember Obsidian? Remember those old school isometric RPGs with the hand-drawn backgrounds? Well, they're back. With a vengeance. And they are awesome.
same as above, only different
same as Fallout 3, Skyrim, Fallout NV...only about half as entertaining imo, but everyone else liked it. So did I tbh, I mean the previous games were REALLY REALLY REALLY fun, this one was just really fun.
a real-time tactics game, if you ever played the old Commandos games this will have you feeling right at home. And frustrated. And rewarded. And frustrated. And rewarded. Takes place in feudal Japan.
There's more but I have to go.
If I had to recommend a "starter pack" I'd say....
and/or Pillars of Eternity/Fallout 4
the "___/____ " depends on what your preference might be, i.e. do you want pure RPG of pillars, or action-rpg of fallout...do you want slower-paced empire building of Civ, or slightly faster paced, more-likely-to-be-war of Stellaris?
Thank you very much, a reason why GS rule from begging till today. Community! Great suggestions, you basicaly have same taste or old school nostalgy like me.
@appariti0n: Ah sounds great, and yes ive been fan of early in 90's and in the begging of first decade of 2000's.
Ive heard that today games, cost nearly 100 + $ if you want to unlock whole content. Is that true ?
@PfizersaurusRex: Well used to enjoy in Fallout in 90's but liked 3rd one too.
As a tittle said, i was 5 years out of gaming, i heard that i missed a lot of things, i was nomad for a 5 years so i didnt even read a news or anything, almost entierly was without connection so pardon my lack of knowledge. I bought a new gaming PC. Here is my configuration.
Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 6700 @ 3.40GHz 25 °C Skylake 14nm Technology RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel @ 1064MHz (14-14-14-35) Motherboard ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. H110M-C (LGA1151) 28 °C Graphics DELL P2417H (1920x1080@60Hz) ATI Radeon RX 580 Series (Gigabyte) CrossFire Enabled / Double Cards.
I can play almost all, huge fun of RTS / RPG / Strategy genres at all, but like to play FPS 3rdPS too, Except CoD serial.
