Great idea, but i'm not sure this will be outstanding. Cool to experience... but i'll stick to the traditional dance floor. Remember that moving your hands with a wire between your controller and nunchuk is like having both hands tied. Dancing hands tied ? ... not sure about it.
I think this game will be AWESOME. Crytek is a really promising developper for the coming years. It's pretty amusing how people are willing to spend money just to get some more details you don't really care while shooting at enemies. I for myself have a X1900 GT with AMD64 4000+ and 1.5 gig of ram... i will stay with it for a loooooooooong time. No need to upgrade. Just look at Rainbow Six Vegas on the PC, the graphics are already almost better than those next-gen consoles. I'm mo5e than satisfied. You would want some extra graphic technologies you can't really notice while casual playing for 500$? Ridiculous. Just look at those screenshot from Crysis, i think DX9 can get a very close result to what you can see, if it is not DX9. So don'T panic, just buy those card in sales... (i saw that ATI X1950 at 160$ NEW.. awesome deal)... and don't bother for the DX10 card for now.
You have to be really idiot to let flying your Wiimote... And i think there's enough warning in the games and on the Wii console to warn people about the danger of having anything near that might be bumped. Be responsible and act like normal people. You broke your Wii mote ? Good luck on ebay, heh.
I kinda hate the 10 sec. penalty for bumping the other car in GT4. Well, the idea is good for sure, but the thing is when the other car should had the penalty, you get it anyway... and when you race for 1st place on a 5-10 min. race, it's really annoying, especially when you drive carefully. The AI was acting as if you were not in the race, so they could bump you anytime and bang, 10 sec. penalty for YOU being bumped. This happened sometimes when i was driving on technical track when there's a lot of braking area. The penalty system should evolved OR a damage system should be considered... with the possibility of affecting the AI cars of course.
It will be VERY buggy. I won't buy the first launch unit. Never. I'll wait a year at least so it drop price and be less buggy. Generally, a "first launch" console doesn't last 2-3 years or so. Problem with the optic eye, hard drive, stability, etc... it's always like this!
