Too bad, they would be a match made in heaven. The only community I've ever seen that's more hostile and toxic than the one surrounding DotA/LOL eSports is the one around physical sports.
@mr_nee That's not at all true in my experience. The 360 games that I checked against PS3 were actually much less vibrant looking and darker, in addition to being graphically inferior by turning off a "few FX". The only improvements I could see were the shaders, which really made more with less.
They all look great, I like the shader balance of the XB1 best though.
It often seemed to me that 360 ports ended up looking better than their PS3 counterparts because they had to work harder to hide the inferior graphics of the 360 with great looking dark shaders, and it looks like that tradition may be continuing.
@neowarrior121 I'm just pissed that this game didn't seem to get a fair shake here after 7 years of development.
I have read some reviews elsewhere that did, and this game does seem to have some length and depth issues, but complaining about invisible walls? What is this 2001 all over again?
It speaks volumes about this review that the opening ad on the video player was for me, of a PS4 game.
I'm sorry, but this reads like an exercise in snobbery from someone who doesn't even like games.
I haven't seen someone make playing such a gorgeous looking action game look like such a chore since my ex-girlfriend. (And no, that's not a sexual joke)
Ryse could be shallow and bad, but a review that doesn't even MENTION boss fights isn't going to convince me.
I'm definitely no fan of the Xbox One, but Ryse deserved better than this.
